Wow, the chairman of the lead thugs in the NFL calls the Bears thugs.

Too funny. :laugh3:

I agree, :agree:, if anything he should know what a "Thug" looks like, he has had a lot of experience dealing with them, and lawyers to get them out of jail, or try to get fines reduced.

There's enough room for two thug teams in the Black and Blue.

Sure, but what have the Bears ever done that's been anywhere near "thuggish"?

They don't commit unsportsmanlike conduct penalties, they have never been mentioned as a "dirty" team, and their defense, while dominant over the last decade (until now), has had the quietest group of veterans and pro bowlers around. Urlacher, Tillman, Briggs, Peppers, Jennings, etc... Most of these guys are downright quiet.

The Bears have the first actual personality on their team in years in "Martellus Bennett". However, he's never been one to cause much of a scene on the field. Marshall has been as well behaved as a boy scout since arriving to Chicago.

There's certainly enough room in every division for there to be multiple teams with reps for being "thugs". However, the Bears just haven't done anything to earn that rep.

Looking forward to some fan going to get some link of an isolated incident, and making a HUGE reach at using that to call the Bears a "thug" team.

That whole Detroit org. (besides Izzy) shows alot of class.:lame:
Shwartz instead of getting ready for the biggest game of the year for him. Is blaming the Bears for holding all game, and complaining about the Bostic hit. Guess he'd just rather gloat over his win.
Know wonder their team is a head case.
Hope GB spanks their ass.

LOL... Do you remember in 2011, when the Bears beat the Lions 37-6 at home, and Schwartz proceeded to blame the loss on the wind?

Man, he is such a god awful head coach.

Well, the way I see it... He can call the Bears thugs all he wants. They sure as hell played like worthless thugs last Sunday.

The more I think about it, the more I realize J.R.'s statement was completely off-base. Saying the Bears are thugs is just as ridiculous as saying the Lions are not.

Yeah, I actually mentioned it somewhere on the Detroit site.
That has to be the classic poor excuse for getting your ass kicked, that I ever heard.
The wind was only blowing when we had the Ball.

I have to disagree. Nitram's blaming the wet grass for his Eagles losing was lamer. Maybe it's just a matter of taste, so I'm prepared to agree to disagree with you about which is worse.

Yeah, but Nitram was just another moron on the internet.

Jim Schwartz is an NFL head coach. I'd say that makes his worse.
