I always thought it was funny when Lidstrom got the "he's not physical enough" rap. The guy played 20 years of lockdown defense, and not once did the man take a dive, embellish, run whining to the ref, "accidentally" throw a head shot, or get involved with petty bullshit after the whistle. That's playing with honor, if anything Lidstrom is a throwback to the good old days, not these knuckledragging goons.

he is pretty much the Ideal player to win around. thats what made the Wings so special with the teams they had. its really amazing how they drafted
