That is a definite must. But there's some risk involved. Injury history & drama baggage mainly. But I think a handful of teams will be more than willing to overlook that.Bells next contract will be front loaded with the guaranteed $$$

He'll go out of bounds instead of get extra yards for you guys this year.Meh. They'll run him into the ground this year and some poor team that gives him $20m will be sorely disappointed when he gets hurt/lays off the gas.
Let him hit the 500 touches record (actually 493) and be done with him.Meh. They'll run him into the ground this year and some poor team that gives him $20m will be sorely disappointed when he gets hurt/lays off the gas.
Also given his past is there any reason to think he won't get lazier once he gets the big buck the way so many other big time free agents have done?Let him hit the 500 touches record (actually 493) and be done with him.
Then another team can listen to his horrible rapping skills.
But how can a man live off of the money he current has! I mean come on the dude has a point... He simply can't live on that... What's wrong with you people... God!
true....as seen a few times, Great defense can also cover for offensive wartsThe only position on offense you NEED to be elite on offense is at QB. You just need to good at the other positions to have a potent offense because offense just comes down to effective QB play and effective scheme and execution of that scheme.
How many of them have 406 touches? Listen Bell is good, my "pedestrian " comment was in reference to his performance last year vs prior years. Nothing he did last year was exceptional . He averaged 4 ypc and 7.7 yards per catch . The only thing he accomplished of note last year was compiling a lot of touches. 2017 Bell was the RB equivalent of Matt Stafford. Still good, just not elite anymore . Maybe that changes back this year. We will see
big year for LawrenceI want Lawrence on the Raiders....
It simply comes down the fact that you don't need a great RB to win a championship.

So it just doesn't make sense to tie up that much money on one position that you just need someone that's good and good RBs are easily found all over the draft. That 17 million could be used to shore up and improve multiple areas of a team and we all know that the Steelers could use that money on defense.

nope....spin againSo you’re saying we are doubly set up!
big year for Lawrence
14 sacks last year and 23 total through 4 seasons.
Dallas was smart to tag him and see if he can duplicate last year
nope....spin again
