I wouldn't be surprised. Nebraska hasn't played a team that runs the ball well since S. Dakota St. and we know what happened there. The difference will be that Minny's rush defense is better than S.. Dakota St.

agreed that minny has no business being in this game. NU should roll. NW struggled because Mark and Colter were out, had no running threat at QB and then turned the ball over on top of that 4 times. NW basicaly didn't play like Fitz's team is usually playing.

NU with or without Taylor has some threat of the QB running. We have way more playmakers than NW and as long as Beck doesn't shoot himself in the foot with crappy play calling, he can get the ball to them. Our defense has improved enough to stop a team that has been shuffling QBs like a deck of cards.

and now that I said that, I'm totally expecting a loss on Saturday. Just look at how my picks have turned out.

Well palying patsies and winning will take the heat off of most coaches. What still makes me nervous is our untested defense.

I have no doubt we'll score points with or without TM. Yet, if Minnesota gets it's running game on track we could be in for a long afternoon.

I see Nebraska winning fairly easily. What I saw from Minny last week wasn't all that impressive. Northwestern has really fallen apart, and credit to Minnesota for taking advantage of that, but no Colter and no Mark and Northwestern is a below average football team. I don't see the Goophs being able to back their way into consecutive victories. I'll take Nebraska by 17, at least.

Just make Minnesota throw the ball. If Iowa could stuff Minnesota, then Nebraska has to be able to do half as good as that. I would put 8 or 9 in the box daring them to throw. Put pressure on their QBs as much as possible.

If Nebraska comes out with patty cake(Ankrah, Randle) and a four man front allowing Minnesota to run, not good. There ie a reason Minnesota is 119 in passing and 28 in rushing.

Nebraska has a Ameer Abdullah, Imana Cross, Terrell Newby, Kenny Bell, and Quincy Enunwa. Plus a better passing game. Our offense will be fine, just stuff Minnesota's run.

If Nebraska can stop the run early on, Nebraska should win this by 28.

Right now I don't have a gut feeling like I did for the UCLA, Illinois, and Purdue games. The only gut feeling I have is a Nebraska win.

I actually think this will be our most impressive game of the season so far. It only makes sense that we start getting on a roll right now so we can fuck up in December
