After what Minny did to NW yesterday, I'd hope they'll get all of Nebraska's attention.

Having two Bye weeks sandwiched amongst beating South Dakota St, Illinois, and Purdue has done nothing to give me warm fuzzies about this staffs ability to get Nebraska to the next level.
Knowing what happened at home against UCLA and seeing what Stanford just did to the Bruins only supports that.
In 5 full seasons, Pelini teams have never finished strong, the return of Taylor is looming, and there are multiple defensive packages collecting dust that Pelini is chewing his fingernails to install any week now.

This. Either NW is in one helluva tailspin or Minnesota isn't all that bad? The Minn "D" only allowd 17 pts against a NW team that almost beat OSU in a shootout. BTW is it a confirmed fact that TM will be available for the Gophers game?

I'm not sold on our defense

The offense has big question mark at the qb spot

And beck play calling needs to be better less multiple crap

I'm not worried about Minny, they're terrible, just figure were going to be rusty with Tito coming back.

What Minny did to NW in no way translates to us, NW just came off two weeks in a row of getting banged up by OSU then Wisconsin, they were playing with a back up QB. Those players will be back when we play them, entirely different ballgame

Maybe the oddsmakers are a bit gun shy after last weekend upsets, or they're giving credit to Minny's above average offensive and defensive rushing #'s?

I wouldn't be surprised. Nebraska hasn't played a team that runs the ball well since S. Dakota St. and we know what happened there. The difference will be that Minny's rush defense is better than S.. Dakota St.
