If the Saints defense is in the top 15 all year long, they will do the following things:

1) Win the South

2) Get a bye in the playoffs

3) Play in the NFC title game

Now that they have a formidable defense, they make a strong case to be contenders this year.

If the Saints defense is as improved as it looks to be through the first three weeks of the season, then they could clearly be a strong contender in the league.

I'm not expecting the defense to remain in the top 10 all season. They've had too many injuries to key players. I think 15-20 is more realistic, which should still be enough with how good their offense is.

The saints are scary. An offense that can score in bunches and mow a good defense. Tough to beat

Sad thing is the offense still not playing great at all. Yesterday was their first good game. There is not a LB or Safety who can guard Jimmy
