The Redskins Blog | A Look Back At Robert Griffin III?s First Two Seasons

i think we have forgotten what this kid brings to the table . it was time to remind everyone

now i know you can find plays of his bonehead mistakes his miss reads , bad passes etc i will concede to all of that

but this kid has potential if his head is kept on straight . you can see he has desire

lets not lose sight of this over a bad year

I don't think the media is too fond of a young man that everyone projected to go 4-12 in 2012, and win the division.
It makes them look bad, however after the epic breakdown, and perhaps Robert not knowing how to stay out of the spotlight...it appears the media has forgiven him and has been kinder to the 'skins chances of winning this year.

"potential" is the key word. My reason for saying that is Robert has had two completely different years. His first year the zone read offense caught the league by surprise. It is important to look back though too. The team was 3-6 and looked like they were done. Then things kicked in. Even so KC was behind center for two of those wins. (with a big help from Crawford)

Year two was the injury, no off season etc. etc. No need to beat this horse to death.

Now Robert is healthy again with a new coach and a new offense and the chance to have an off season to learn and improve. At the same time he is starting in a new offense so that is why I think it is almost like a rookie season again.

Whether you liked the trade a couple of years ago or not we need this kid to be good so lets all hope he continues to develop and we see big things from him and ALL the players this year.
