Bannister is going to have Tolleson burned up by the time we have any hope of making an October run.

Not getting shit from the ump either. This guy has changed his zone every other inning all night.
Yes, this ump is as inconsistent as it gets. And it's not always even every other inning. He changes his strike zone from batter to batter.

I will take it. Now shut Tolleson down for several days.

Hopefully they win big tomorrow and don't need him, and then they have an off day Thursday.

I was thinking the strike zone changed every pitch

This is actually a situation where I'd love to see the Gatorade shower. Seriously, who wouldn't love to see John Rhadigan just get doused by a huge bucket of Gatorade all over his suit and gelled up hair?

Thought once Kela was warming he should have pitched the ninth tonight, but oh well

Johnny "Gatorade" was being interviewed

Good win tonight. I gotta say tho, I'm sick of our pitching making the Padres lineup look like the Blue Jays lineup because in reality the two are not comparable. Hamels will be on the hill tomorrow, and I hope his NL history can help us because right now our pitchers are getting pummeled.

How about Elvis stealing home? That's pretty awesome... haven't seen a Ranger do that in some time.

What kind of odds you guys giving this team in the playoffs if they can hold their position or even win the West?

Bannister won't. He's said multiple times, once Tolleson is in the game it's out of his hands. What a fucking waste. Thanks, Banny.
I know we are over 500 and overall I like Banister as a manager but he makes some decisions that are real head scratchers. He wasted Kela much in the same way earlier in the year.

Tolleson's mechanics are even funkier than usual tonight. He's diving off the left side of that mound and yanking everything.
I have noticed that a lot lately. The blown save to Toronto he kept yanking everything to the left side of the plate. Glad to see we got the win as I was not able to stay up past us making it 4-4 and blowing more opportunities. But a win is a win. The other teams defense has really helped us at times lately. Bautista blowing it in RF, the LFer for the Orioles blowing it and Norris. Of course it is hard to blame Norris on that play.

I really like what Andrus has been doing for the past month or so and Choo as well. And of course Odor and DeShields.

I find some of the reasoning in this article by Banister head scratching as well. Use too many bullets at one time? Send in a LH PH and make them bring their lefty in. Then bring Napoli up to PH for the PHer. What are you needing to save these guys for. When the game is over? Force the other teams hand a little. The logic for using Bobby Wilson in that AB does not fly. We have jacked Napoli around plenty lately as well.

Why the Rangers pinch hit Bobby Wilson Tuesday with bigger bats on the bench

Well in all fairness it was mostly Kemp last night
