Pretty much a perfect start to the season, FP Santagelo on the radio said it's just a continuation of spring training, they looked great there and they just kept that going.

They clearly have an identity as promised by Posey, pitching, defense, baserunning, timely hitting, exactly what got them titles (maybe not the baserunning so much), this is how the Giants need to compete.

That said, we just played in 2 of the hitterest parks there are, we'll have to expect less from guys like Flores and Ramos at home...but then again the pitching could be even better.

Exciting stuff, I'm more jazzed than I was to start the season. Still think the upside case is 90 wins and a wild card, the Dodgers will win 120 games without breaking a sweat it seems and the Padres look pretty great too.

Another problem is the Giants having 26 games vs the 2 best teams in the NL. Other wild card contenders don’t have that. I suppose the Phillies might be as good as the Padres but I bet the Pads finish with a better record

Too early to tell, except that the phuking doyers are the best team. Otherwise, it's all about injuries. We won't know who the best teams (other than the phuking doyers) are until July-August

Speaking of the Dodgers (and Ohtani's walkoff), the Braves are 0-7 with only 14 runs scored. I know it's early but is this meaningful?
