Last night pitching finally got it together. Nice to see the M's putting up some runs.

Kikuchi having a much better outing with this start. Seems to have his fast ball more fine tuned tonight.

My favorite part of the game was when Chapman shoved Lewis off the base and apparently that’s ok to do now

Well.....that kind of sucks. Sacks juiced bottom of the 9th with 1 out and can't get a run in. :L And they bring in Altavilla??? :gaah:

Who the hell is this Margevicius that blew the lead for us?

And when can we be rid of him?

Don't be fooled by the standings.

Remember the 13-2 start last year and what happened from there.

Just another tease before the inevitable downfall. We've seen it before, be it a big lead in a game or a good position in the division.

Super disappointing Saturday night. When I saw Scott brought Altavilla in the 10th, I thought "oh shit" he'll blow this one. Have zero confidence in Dan Altavilla to close out a tight game, AND especially in Servais's ability to manage pitching staff decisions....period!!

I was impressed with him, it seems like the starters are finally dialing it in.
Price you pay with running young guys out there in the 9th lesson learned though.
I'm still very impressed with this team.

I am however done with the Marmo experiment. I think he can only hit the ball if its in the top of the zone, him and Vogey are eating up roster spots where they could have two younger guys getting AB's!
Cut them both and move on! Scotty Boy and his damn thinking he see's something in these two

Really hoping that the season doesn't get cut short.

With everything going on, watching the Mariners play has surprisingly been a treat to me.

Direction of this franchise aside, it has been nice to have a slight bit of normalcy.

Thing that has me most optimistic about Kikuchi is that his velocity appears to be much higher than it was last year.

I really, really, want to see Vogey do well, but at this point I agree that he's a waste of a roster spot. His only tool is his bat and that hasn't been showing up. It also bothers me that he clearly doesn't take care of himself.

I agree having a semblance of baseball has been nice and it's fun to see the young upcoming talent show their stuff. Lewis is outrageous, and believe it or not, Seager's offense has been nice to see. WTF is up with our skipper? He puts Misiewicz in relieving Graveman and what happens? A 3 run bomb right away. Doesn't Scotty realize that Misiewicz specializes in blowing leads? I understand he wants to let these young guys get the experience but good lordy, this is not spring training Scotty, the short season has started so manage like you want to win games damit. I'm already tired of hearing him making excuses that these guys are "young" and you've got to expect that kind of stuff. NO Scotty, raise your expectations and those "young" guys will work to meet those expectations. I wish the M's had a manager with some balls. Lou would be kicking some ass and not put up with the stuff Servais allows.
OK my rant is (temporarily) over. :suds:

4-6 is pretty normal alright.
Actually, 4-6 is just a touch above normal around here.

But still, today's game (along with yesterday's) proves my point that you can't take the standings for granted. Before you know it, the fear of heights kicks in like it always does.

If the season IS cut short before we have to get settled in the divisional basement, we're lucky.
