Dodgers. SEA is in the mix if they trade Taijuan Walker. I hope they do. Price won't re-sign.

Everyone is talking about what a great trade is was for OAK, but I think they gave up a lot. Hammel will be a FA and Jeff next year. They gave up their last top 100 prospect in Addison Russell and Straily +.

We need another bat in the line-up IMO, and starters. Tulo completely changes the dynamic of the line-up.

I'd love to have Tulo but pretty tough to see us getting him at any point.

1. We still have a stock pile of our own middle infielders that are relatively cheap.
2. We need pitching.
3. Yanks are likely to be all in on him with Jeter retiring soon and he will cost a very pretty penny.
4. We are already on the books for like $100M next season... signing Tulo by himself could cap us out and he can't pitch.

Gotta take care of the pitching situation first IMO-both the pen and starters. We have seen what you get around these parts with great hitting and no pitching.

It's a short term fix for Oakland purely. They either go for it all this year or next. We could wait them out. As you say we have a brighter future than they do with Gallo, Jackson, Chi Chi and that catcher amongst others. One starter they got is a rental and they won't sign the other after next year.

Seattle gets Price they leap past the Angels and are a wild card entry. If LAD gets Price, they are just as bad the Miami Heat these last few years. Bad as in hated!
