Lester sucks, Royals pummel Yankees and Kraft feels duped.

You didn't even see what the sign says. :rolleyes2:

"Honk if you think Robert Kraft is a cocksucker."

Created a scene with all the honking and the cops asked me to move along.

Hey Dirt, how is Luis Cruz working out for you guys? I watch allot of Dodgers games and he seems like the ultimate teammate, perfect in the dugout, decent defense, nonexistant offense. What's he doing there? I was happy to see him get picked up.

Always a stat Rock will find to make a Sox player glorious and a Yankee player suck

slugging isn't one of those obscure sabrmetrics...

it's been on the back of baseball cards since at least the 70's...and I got you to agree it's a better metric than batting average.

I'd be more concerned with his inability to field a position competently at this point in his career.

Yes, it's the most important stat at 2:54pm on July 9th 2013

It will be meaningless to you tomorrow at this time

It's half of the most effective baseball stat available...

Alone? It's not perfect...but, 2 things I can say as 100% fact.

i've never seen a "good hitter" slug under .350....and never seen a "bad hitter" slug over .450....I've seen plenty of "crappy" .300 hitters, and plenty of "great" .270 hitters...

Slick glove, some hard luck with the bat he's put some pretty good wood on some ABs

But definitely suited as a utility/defensive replacement type

His Slugging is almost Exactly AL league average. (Actually 2 points higher than average)

and his OBP is a good 20 point above AL average

Really, down highlighted to only real downfall here...his Poor fielding..

but beggars can't be choosers..

I think ideally he would get a bulk of time splitting with Overbay at first, and DHing

Either way, I'm not being picky, it's the worst lineup I've ever seen

And I think They wanna slot Pineda into Jobas spot

About what I expected. I doubt he'll catch on longer there but I'm happy for him to go from AAA to the Yankees. He made some friends with the Dodgers...

Yanks prayers are answered:suds:

Cardinals released INF Ty Wigginton.
Signed to a two-year, $5 million deal during the offseason, Wigginton has done very little in limited playing time with the Cardinals this season, batting just .158/.238/.193 in 63 plate appearances. The 35-year-old should latch on elsewhere pretty quickly now that he can sign for the prorated major league minimum.

The corresponding move is what worries me here. As a hater of the Cardinals, I'm wondering what they have in mind. :hope:

Love that stat. It helps to take the extra bases numbers already recorded into an % that judges batting average to power.

Miguel Cabera slg % must be must be crazy from last year to now.
