That will change. Gentry is a terrific OF but a light weight with the bat. His future is as a defensive replacement at best.
Read a story the other day that said the Rangers were giving strong consideration to calling Martin up until he got hurt. It also said he is still having trouble with routes to fly balls, but you have to figure that will get better with experience. To bad he got hurt.

I see your point, but Gentry is doing well enough with the bat IMO that we can afford to let Martin season in AAA while he works on his defensive game. The last thing I want is to see a defensive liability in cf.
