Yep. Slid into first base headfirst on a bunt attempt.
Man that sucks. I was really hoping he'd be our CFer by June 1st.
Too early and gentry is going fine.
That will change. Gentry is a terrific OF but a light weight with the bat. His future is as a defensive replacement at best.
Read a story the other day that said the Rangers were giving strong consideration to calling Martin up until he got hurt. It also said he is still having trouble with routes to fly balls, but you have to figure that will get better with experience. To bad he got hurt.
