yah, regardless of the result of the first 7 games, whether they were 6-1 or 1-6, the Lakers need interior defense and rebounding, and 3 pt shooting.It's way too early to make a judgment on this season. The Bucks are on pace to be the greatest team in basketball history. I think even the biggest Buckhead would concede that might be a bit much.
The Lakers are going to struggle throughout the season because the team is constructed poorly. If you look at the big picture you understand why but the Lakers need to make a change to their roster if they want to be truly competitive this year. Not because of the first 7 games. That was obvious before the season started.
Also, a reliable 2nd scorer would also be a big help- but that is less of a worry, and an internal option may emerge, than that of the 3 pt shooting, and interior D/rebounding.
