Speaking of LeManufacturedSuperStar... Last night showed Le3-5 would have been completely shut down in the 80s/90s Jordan era if the refs allowed the players to you know.... DEFEND him and have some leeway with physicality

The physical Heat defense tore him a completely new LeAssHole

So butt hurt.

Speaking of humble, what Cyder will not tell anyone is he was actually the GM the Kentucky Colonels in the ABA. He lost his job when he tried to draft them "darkies"

@Cyder may be a lot of things and a lot may be true but he's far from racist.

Always love it when people act like it is a bad thing to believe in yourself.

I see where he's coming from but the Cavs record kills him.

If we're going by the true meaning of most valuable then he should get the award but it is extremely obvious, the NBA almost always disregard that and just go with the most valuable player on a top 4 team.

Last year was an exception only because Russ avg a trip double which never happens

There's believing in yourself and then there's bragging. Lebron sped past believing in yourself years ago and is blowing through bragging on his way to God complex.

Seriously though, on it's own, sure this comment is no big deal and I'd expect any MVP candidate to say the same thing.

But when you throw this in with all of the unnecessary bragging on himself that he's done, it all becomes the same thing...Lebron congratulating himself again.

Dude, did you just use them most arrogant sob in the history of sports to prop up your argument?

I mean, do you not remember his HOF speech?

Did LeBron ever slap the Piss out of his teammates?

Arrogance is part of what makes some of these guys great.

On the biggest possession of the game, Muggsy had the ball with the Hornets down one. Jordan backed off of him and told him, 'Shoot it, you f***ing midget.' Muggsy shot it, didn’t come close. A year later Muggsy actually told Johnny Bach that he believes that single play ruined his career. His shot never recovered.

Here's the thing though. Back when MJ was playing, no one knew what an asshole he was. He was very careful about crafting his image. We didn't find out about the other stuff until years after he retired.

I have a feeling that if social media, etc. had existed back then, MJ would have been looked at a lot like Lebron is now.

Probably much worse than LeBron actually. LeBron is a considerably better person.

Wait, how is he selfish for saying that he would vote for himself for MVP? Should he have said Jordan Clarkson?

How about something like, "There are a few guys having great years besides me. Russ, KD, Harden, they're all playing some of the best basketball of their careers. It's a really tough call"?

Heck, he even could have added "But end of the day, I think I'd vote for me" and he wouldn't come off nearly as douchey.

If Lebron comes to the Lakers, he should hire me to be his publicist. lol

Yeah, you're probably right about that. Say what you want about his ego, etc. you don't ever hear about Lebron being an ass to people in public, or pimp slapping teammates.

He's had a couple of missteps, but nothing like some of the shit that's come out about MJ.

Not to mention: banging groupies (MJ's wife finally got tired of it), titanic gambling problem, etc.

I honestly don't think he would have. Many more would have disliked him, but MJ had natural charisma that LeBron lacks. MJ was not a nice person and would have been exposed for sure if playing today. LeBron has a douchiness factor that MJ just didn't. Even if people knew he was a jerk, they still wouldn't hate him the way many do LeBron today. That is the difference and IMO the biggest reason why LeBron will never seriously be considered on MJ's level regardless of future accomplishments. People just like MJ more.

Pride (Latin, superbia) is considered, on almost every list, the original and most serious of the seven deadly sins:

It is irrationally believing that one is essentially and necessarily better, superior, or more important than others, failing to acknowledge the accomplishments of others, and excessive admiration of the personal image or self. Especially refusing to acknowledge one's own limits, faults, or wrongs as a human being.

In the end, the problem is real. Irving made this clear.

His HOF speech was very public. Maybe you missed it.
i guess its not just the politics board full of stupid people.

a HOF speech isnt on the court, during a career where he is eligible for...MVP!

"i heard he once spoke in 3rd person at a mcdonalds drive thru in 2008, asshole"

Listen, bitch......don't be mad because people have proven you wrong. Pretty hard for players to speak on the court when they are playing when they are ON THE COURT.
