I disagree. Football is mostly dependent on coaching compared to a sport like basketball where talent wins out.

They do it during the national anthem because it is the only time they can have a peaceful/silent protest on a public stage. Any other form of protest they choose to do would be a distraction to their team. Also the end goal is obvious if you took 10 seconds to do a little research. A lot of these guys are doing great work behind the scenes that never gets talked about as they work towards that end goal.

Also it is pretty clear that almost all of these protest are due to the comments that man in the white house made on Friday night in Alabama. Prior to this week, they had less than 10 players protesting and everyone kept their mouth shut about it and went about their life. Now all of sudden because these guys took a stand because of the offensive comments made on Friday night it is some big issue? The quicker he realizes this isn't a dictatorship country then the better off things would be.
