Golden State wins in 6 I think...but will James win the first losing MVP since '69 when Jerry West did it?

I think he wins the Finals MVP regardless of the results. I don't agree with it, but he'll win it since the media gets the vote and they're the ones starting this debate.

He hasn't been great the past 2 games. Taken some bad shots and dribbled of his leg a time or 2. Stat line looks good on paper though.

Give it to him i guess or Golden State's 10 man rotation.

Will he win it? No. Voters are too used to just voting for a guy from the winning squad.

Does he deserve to win it win or lose? Absolutely. No one has been anywhere close to more valuable than him in this series. He has shouldered the load in a way few NBA players in the history of the sport have ever been asked to do.

Nope. Curry deserves it if GS wins. Plain and simple.

Well he has forced shots for sure, but he shot nearly 50% last game and only had 2 turnovers. That was impressive. Ohh and that 40 footer LOL

hes had a terrible final outside of a handful of quarters.

Yeah, I know but I feel like he stepped up these last two, especially late in this last game. I think Lebron has been the best player, hands down, but I just dont think he would get enough votes. Especially since many hate him lol

been insane late in the 4th in the last 2 games. he nearly pulled his team from down what, 20 something late?

i said this to a coworker...what lebron is doing right now reminds me of brady for the pats the last 10 years (sans this superbowl).

guy always got burned on an amazing play that cost his team a title after he put them up late. always had the "horrible defenses" he dragged to a superbowl. always had critical injuries to him or key parts around him (i.e gronk) that if healthy, he would have won.

lebrons carrying a load thats too heavy even for his frame.

I think Curry would need to shit the bed for the remainder of the series (assuming the Warriors still win) for LeBron to have a chance. I think if Curry is even just mediocre, he gets it with a GS win.

Lebron should win it regardless.

He literally has been the coach, top scorer, best defender, best passer, and best rebounder for his team.

Heck everytime his exhausted body sits for a nano-second, GS goes on a 6-10 pt run.

Cleveland would literally lose by 40+ each game without Lebron making it respectable at times.

To say any other player is more valuable to the series is absurd.

I'm confident that James will cop the MVP even if the Cavs get rat stomped tomorrow night because he's the best player in the world.

You can score, rebound and assist as much as you like.

If you aint lifting that trophy at the end of the series, it don't mean shit! The Finals MVP is meant for the player who helped his team WIN.

So despite being a fan of the Laker's I assume you still think Jerry West should return his finals MVP trophy then?
