He lead a team that should have been swept in this series to two victories in the series and kept them in all the other games. The fact that they actually had a shot in this series is a minor miracle.

You take that Cav's roster that played in this final series, subtract Lebron, and then have them play a full season, they are EASILY the worst team in the league. Lebron was the only reason this wasn't over in 4 games.

You're confusing "Most Valuable" with "Best player"

Lebron was the best player of the series. But take Iggys performances away and we have a Cleveland championship.

Completely disagree.

GS needed to make a change after 3 games but more than that they just needed to play better. Iggy gets the credit because that was the change they made but more than anything they just needed a change in strategy and inserting him was one of about 3 different moves that would have turned the series.

.....of course if Kerr would have just run doubles at Lebron the whole series and forced other players to beat them then they wouldn't have had to go small in order to turn the series in the first place.

I'm shocked Iggy won this. If it isn't LeBron, it has to be Curry. People are giving him too much credit for Kerr's adjustment... which didn't even really increase his minutes.

Where is all this talk about Lebron as MVP? Iggy had more of an impact in this series than did Lebron. We all knew Lebron was going to get his, he had to in order for Cleveland to have a chance. But, Iggy's defense and offense pushed the Warriors over the top. You still need a "team" to win a championship. In my humble opinion, it appeared that Lebron had resigned himself to the loss late in the third quarter. His bodily language and choice of shots showed that.

Clearly! So valuable he led the team to.... a loss

You are trying way to hard man. He lead bench players to the Finals and won to against a great TEAM. They had so many guys step up, Cleveland had a couple guys step up, mainly the bigs. No player in history can win without all-stars around them, Lebron about pulled it off.

Iguodala finished the series with averages of 16.3 points, 4 assists and 5.8 rebounds. In Game 6, he scored 25 points and added 5 rebounds and 5 assists.

MVP worthy? Eh....

Then I read this:

Iguodala also had the responsibility of guarding LeBron James, just as 2014 Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard did. When Iguodala was on the floor, James shot 38.1 percent from the field.

Not too shabby... But I see why people are upset about this MVP

Worst NBA Finals MVP since Dennis Johnson IMO.
