And that is pure speculation. No one saw it. We did, however, see his one college season at SC and he was terrible. If you think the Lakers were not going to draft him even before the combine then you are clueless
He almost died last summer....

You don't think that setback his development?

LOL.

The only reason people are so ridiculous about them taking Bronny is because of the hate for Bron.

Some of these dumbasses are acting like he was taken with 5th pick instead of the 55th. lol

Yeah.

It isn’t wrong to say the only reason he got drafted was because he is LeBron’s son.

He doesn’t even get invited to the combine with the freshmen season he had otherwise.

However, very few picks in the 50s make it.

So this is literally 0 downside to this pick.

Nobody wants to talk about AJ Johnson going to the Bucks at #23.

Not ready for that discussion....LOL.

AJ Johnson has lottery level upside.

Bronny does not.

Not saying Johnson pick will pan out. I would bet against it honestly.

But he has the talent to get taken in that spot.

Just as Bronny has the talent to be taken at 55.

What I do think is that he would never have been drafted if he were not Lebron James' kid. That I know for certain

Not too many agree with you since no mock drafts had him in the top 14.

Ummm…

I said talent. Not production.

He obviously wasn’t drafted that high because he averaged 2 points a game.

Need to show some evidence of utilizing that talent to actually get taken in the lottery.

AJ Johnson has athletic traits of guys drafted a lot higher than 23 if he learns how to use them.

Please. Don’t be ridiculous. The only reason he was picked to go in that timeframe is because everyone knew LeBron James was going to force the Lakers to draft him.
I wonder if he,ll play long enough to do that with his younger son?

Doubt it, all that flopping and crying takes a toll on the body.

Lol. He has a pretty decent shot at playing the most nba games in history. He already owns the most playoff games.

Guess it worked

Pretty wild takes here.

He is going to be in the discussion with MJ for the GOAT but crying and flopping? LOL.

Also ignores the fact that most (I am having a hard time thinking of one who hasn’t) superstar players who have been top MVP candidates for 5+ seasons have done their fair share of flopping and crying.

Yep but Fish does not really follow basketball so we probably should just ignore him and move on.

Pretty sure MJ flopped (not as much as today's players but he did) and cried to the refs.....

But, maybe that is just me.

*Shrugs*

He flopped a lot.

Players who don’t flop are honestly dumb.

You have to be a good actor to get the ref to blow the whistle in your favor. Players that are best at it gain advantages for their team.

MJ was very good at it.

Baby James’ knee couldn’t even hold up for more than one summer league game. He couldn’t answer the bell for game 2 against the warriors

Team being cautious, summer league isn't that important lol. Could be back on the court as soon as their next game (Wed vs Miami).
