Cleveland Cavaliers may target LeBron James in 2014 free agency, according to report...

The most important paragraph of an article that's 100% speculation is this.

The move is theoretically possible because James has an early termination option in his contract that he can exercise after next season to get out of the six-year, $109.8 million deal he signed with the Miami Heat during the summer of 2010. While it does seem sort of crazy that James would voluntarily walk away from making about $20.6 million in '14-'15 and just over $22.1 million in '15-'16 to play in Miami — and as Grantland's Zach Lowe pointed out last week in an analysis of Cleveland's post-Varejao-injury predicament, "there has been no on-record indication he has much interest in" opting out — it makes some long-term sense.

I am a Cavs fan, and I was mad but I respected his decision to win a title.

It is different coming from me bc I grew up in Akron and watched him play HS ball. So I am an individual Lebron fan more than anything.

But imagine Cleveland hypothetically. PG Kyrie Irving SG Dion Waiters SF Lebron James, they would have to get more pieces around em but those three, what a trio!

The real question is: Will Lebron forgive your asshole owner? I think not.

Yeah. This true, it will never work with that owner. I think they would rather go after Bynum this yr.

I lived in Akron from 97-01......worked at Goodyear Corporate for IBM. Fans in that area take EVERYTHING serious. I remember convos at the barber shop where they all thought when the Browns came back in 99 that they'd make the playoffs........delusion is HIGH in Cleveland.

Yeah. Diehard fans are the most delusional.

I like what they have done w/ roster so far since LBJ left. I would welcome him back if he came, just dont think it will happen.
