that was fucking bullshit call. this game has me fucking mad. at everything the NHL the officiating the canucks. we are NOT a threat in this league. I wont be saving money for a playoff run this year this team is weak on so many levels they cannot overcome average goaltending and weak officiating. no marks of a champion here. rebuilding should begin after this season is over.

regressing. the rest of the NW continues to be mediocre at best and its not even the good mediocre. The Canucks have lost huge strides and are fading fast. They only have a chance at a cup this year if other teams just fall apart, in the playoffs LA would kill this team, Chicago will eat them alive and I dont think the could beat Nashville, Detroit or San Jose even. we have ONE line and the rest is not very good after that.

David Booth is the most uselss pick up I think Gillis has done to date. That guy is pure crap and predictable in everything he does. jesus do I dislike him as a hockey player. Our defense is one step behind it seems and just cant catch up. Sorry Dash and I wish I could say this without ripping your team but they are crap and for the Canucks who are supposed to be elite not to be able to tear them apart and destroy a 3rd/4th string goalie tells me my team is not that good at all. this should have been a slaughter and the way they lost was disturbing to me. If they went on a 10 game winning streak after this I still wouldn't think they could win a cup.

I agree with you Matty, the Flames are crap, the frustrating thing is that I think they have some pretty good players, but they have no concept of playing a smart team game. With the 2013 draft being a strong deep draft, this is the year to clear the deck and get some new young faces. I'll be very surprised if it happens though.

they deserved a better fate through 40m, and couldn't step it up in da turd.
does arriving 2 hrs before the game have anything to do with that? it probably shouldn't.
(shortest road trip ever - left at 1:20pm, were back 9hr later)

they do have a chance to build some momentum here.
after SJ at home, they have CBJ, Min, CBJ, Nash. need to string together some (regulation) W's

they look like shit without their #2 center, and a top pairing d-man.
after a 6 games in 9 night spell, where the flu was running through the team.
excuses? yeah. but those are still pretty important factors.

this season is a bit of a clusterfuck.
always has been, since we all know one goalie's got to go, and we don't know what's coming back
and Kesler being out puts a HUGE hole in the lineup. no doubt about that.
we are treading water - don't know if that changes by playoffs, but talk of rebuilding is a pretty drunk thing to say.

even with the full lineup puck the team isnt turning heads. They are playing pretty poorly and have been handed the Division on a platter too many years in a row now. they are soft and arrogant and dont feel they need to work hard to get to the playoffs that hurts them the most. I dont see any improvement with this team even with Kesler back. Im starting to sour greatly on Kesler anyway. Take away the Nashville series and that one 40 goal season and you have a pretty mid range player and injury prone to boot. This team is not what it was and Gillis is not making anything better nor is AV with his decisions. but Im always over reacting with this team but I just DONT see it in them like I did in 2010/2011 I knew that team was going to the Cup in November. (thought winning it was going to happen as well god dammit)

I think this team missing Erhoff the most on the PP we need a guy like that again

I just dont know why AV didnt put Kassian on with the Sedins after it was clear Calgary was gonna take cheap shots at them last night ... and Burrows at centre on a second line ... they showed without Kesler they can compete ... wasnt pretty but it was safe

going with 5 left shooting d is killing this team most of all imo ... fuck the writing was on the wall before the season started ... they need to improve the organ. depth here asap
