Ravens are in last place
49ers are in second to last place (so far)

Anyone want to bet on a repeat of last year's Superbowl?

It was never going to happen. On average 5-6 of last years playoff teams don't make it the following year.

Out of last years playoff teams (at least right now) it looks like the Ravens, Texans, Vikes, and Falcons won't make it. SF and GB are fighting for their playoff lives.

The Ravens are actually tied for 2nd and are about to go on a 3-game home winning streak. They will be in control of the 6-seed at the end of this home-stand. :suds:

More accurately, the Ravens are in a 3 way tie for 2nd in their division. Which is the same as saying they are tied for 4th place in their division. Currently there are 5 teams ahead of them for the last playoff spot in the AFC. Not saying it can't be done but they are going to need a lot of help.

Um, 49ers are tied for second place and hold the tiebreaker over the cardinals. Both teams are 6-4.

And then they go to Detroit to face Megatron and Reggie in primetime and then follow that up by the angry revenge minded pats and Gronk. I don't think ravens win either because they don't have the offense to this year.

The Bengals and Browns both will finish better than the Ravens. They might be one of the worst defending SB champ teams ever. Losing Ray Ray was huge and letting Boldin go was just stupid.

Personally, I'm glad the Browns and Bengals will finish better than Steelers and Ravens.

No bets on a SB repeat for these two teams this season. You might want to check on the standings before posting rather than just guessing.

I guess they felt $7.5 million was a little too steep for 1 fantastic game. Other than the first game of the season, he's averaging 3.78 rec, 46.89 yds and .22 tds per game. You're talking about one of the best front offices in the game. Stupid??? Not so much...

Ravens and steelers are old. Expect to be rebuilding for the next 3-5 years.

The Ravens don't rebuild. They just continually evolve. Ozzie and the rest of the front office constantly have one eye towards the future. Their philosophy is always that it's better to let go of player a year too soon than a year too late. That's why they said goodbye to Boldin.

Yeah, that sure is some good front officing. Last place looking up at the Bengals and Browns. Way to go Ozzie. :laugh3:

You do realize you are talking about a team that has made the playoffs 5 years straight and just won the Superbowl...right?

Do you grasp at all exactly how stupid your comment sounds???

So know I'm stupid? You have poor communication skills and are just being a dick. The Ravens are where they are now because of poor front office management. Maybe if you took the dick colored homer glasses off, you would see what everyone else sees.

Browns and Bengals are both better than the Ravens. That obviously means that the Ravens screwed the poochie.

"So know I'm stupid"? :suds:

The Ravens are consistently a relevant team because of great front office management. Anyone who has a clue knows that.

And you play in a division where for the last decade or so you only had to really beat 1 team.

Both are in good position for the #6 seed.

Here is the problem with that for the Niners. They've lost to Carolina and the Saints so they have very little shot at the #5 seed. It also sets up a scenario where they could be playing Seattle in Seattle if they win their first round.

I'm not saying you can cross the Niners off your Super Bowl list but its really hard seeing them get back.

Anything can happen in the AFC so the Ravens are still in it but they really, really should have beaten the Bears
