The NFL Wildcard Weekend is upon us. Sadly, our Patriots are out of the mix for the second year in a row.

So how about seeing how well we can pick the teams that will eventually lead us to the Super Bowl.

49ers and Ravens have the weekend off and will play the lowest ranked survivors next weekend.

This is how I'm rooting. Ultimately I'd like to see the Lions win it all, followed by the Browns, then Bills. I chose the Cowboys here only because I think things will be more interesting later, especially seeing the Lions beat the 'boys.

I would not be shocked to see the Texans @ Bills and the Dolphins @ Ravens next weekend along with Packers @ the 49ers and the Rams @ the Eagles. Then the Rams @ 49ers and the Bills @ Ravens. My gut says that the Bills will lose another Super Bowl to the 49ers.

There isn't a team out there that isn't prone to just trying to have a complete meltdown in any game against any other team.

For those that haven't heard, the northeast had some freaky nasty weather and Buffalo is not only having a monster snowstorm, but Friday brought about a foot and a half of rain. It's so flooded and slushed up that the Bills game was moved to Monday night.

They won 16 in a row at home. only loss was first game vs TB with Brady last season. They beat our ass this year, first loss to them in a long time

I would never accept credit for what you post

I don't make picks when I'm rooting for outcomes. I find it alters my ability to enjoy the games by placing a contradiction between wanting my picks to be correct and the outcomes I want.

I feel any of these games really could go either way.
I think the Ravens should take the Texans, But the Texans really surprised me last week.
Homefield might be the deciding factor for the Bills. Refs could decide either way.
Can the Lions win TWO playoff games??? Can Baker slug it out? Again Homefield or the refs. The refs could blow it or make it either way.
Same as Ravens/Texans, I think San Fran should have it, But the Packers are hot right now.

I'm thinking the Texans will lose in Buffalo, Packers will put up a better fight in Detroit but I'll call that game later.

In three out of the four games last weekend, the officials let both teams play it out in the secondary. Then at the end of those games, the teams that were behind were flopping all over the place and screaming like banshees on their final drives. Especially Pickens of the Steelers. I just hope that they don't let them grab shirts and wrap an arm and then start calling everything with three minutes left in a game. Either call every dinky thing early and set the rules or let it go and everyone lives with it.
