Jack Del Rio did SHIT as a HC. that is what you're based off of, your HC abilities and wins/losses. A LOT of coordinators are great coordinators and cant do shit as HC. There is a giant difference. Let's see Jack Del Rio do something as a HC first.

Turned the jags around and took them to their first play offs.. coaches can't help is the talent doesn't live up to the hype..

Actually, Tom Coughlin had already taken them all the way to the AFC CG.

That is exactly what a coach is supposed to do, make the talent perform up to its expectations. I think Jax was more about a lack of talent, than talent not living up to expectations.

If anything, his Jags teams played above their talent level!!

I'm telling you SC fans, should totally go after Mike Leach.

And I truly don't think Saban would be a good fit for any west coast team. From an outside view of the south (excluding Florida) it seems those athletes are a different breed that the athletes out west.

Alshon Jefferey just called Kiffen and offered him a job pumping gas at one of Alshon's many service stations...

This guy will - unfortunately - get another head coaching gig. There's a saying in football about fired coaches: "heads might roll often, but they don't roll very far." It's also why a guy like Jack Del Rio will get more opportunities. It's only when a coach has shown himself to be absolutely incompetent, a la Rich Kotite, that they don't rebound.

This is SC you are talking about, recruiting was never a problem and it wouldnt bbe if Saban was the coach.

LOL, I'm hearing the names on the short list are:

Kevin Sumlin, Chris Peterson, Jack Del Rio, Jeff Fisher

I'd say Fisher and Peterson are loooooong shots at best, most likely neither would take the job. If this is their list, Sumlin is the best of the bunch IMO.
