Devils' Lou Lamoriello on NHL lockout: 'I'm embarrassed for the game' | NJ.com

Yup, Gary's still pissed about Kovy's contract while ignoring all the cap circumvention contracts that preceded that contract. Of course, if Gary and his cronies would have crafted a decent CBA in 2005, we probably wouldn't be in another lockout today. Every time I hear Bettman say "We have 30 healthy franchises", I get stabby.
BAN KNIVES!
only semi automatic ones
Dash gonna shank that lil bitch !!
It really is a Mickey Mouse league.
/see what I did there?

They did a survey of Sabres season ticket holders. The team has only had five non renewes (that's pretty much the norm) they have a waiting list so that's no biggie.
They ALL said they would attend the games when they resume because they like hockey so much but.....A good majority said they definitely will cut down on concession stand stops (They want to stop before and after the games at the local restaurants and pubs to support them because of the hit they took) and most of them said they would not purchase items like jerseys and things from the Sabres store for a year or so.
Hockey fans are hockey fans and to expect them to stay home when they start playing just aint gonna happen buddy.
canucks have not asked us anything nor cared when I emailed my displeasure. I got a canned response of we will send your bitching to the appropriate department........ I think his name was T. Rash

*****The Sharks distributed all l7,562 free tickets, but estimated before the game that the crowd would probably end up somewhere between 10,000 and 14,000 based on previous experience. The announced attendance at 12,881 struck me as legit (my guess in the press box pool was 13,000 or maybe a few more) and those there seemed to enjoy the game that featured four fights and 10 goals, six of the latter by Stockton.
It got loud at times, but my guess is that for many fans, it only drove home the fact that they are being denied their chance for those collective roars.
****I tried to get a little sense as to whether fans were still taking sides in the labor dispute or simply declaring a pox on both houses.
“I guess it’s easier to identify with the millionaires that are the players rather than the billioaires that are the owners,” said Jeremy Jahn of Pleasant Hill, who was grabbing a bite to eat at the Los Gatos Brewing Co. before the game. “At least from what I read, it seems like the players are a little more flexible.”
Did he plan on hoisting any protest signs once he got to the arena?
“No way,” he said. “I like the seats we’ve got.”
But he was appreciative of the Sharks’ decision to schedule the ECHL game.
“Definitely,” said Jahn, who drove to San Jose with friend, Crystal Wigton. “And we came down here early to support the local businesses. We don’t make it to San Jose very often. This is awesome, this is a great opportunity.”
