I'm not sure splitting on the opponent's court gets you home-court advantage. I think, and correct me if I'm wrong, you'd have to also win the first game on your own floor, right? The problem is that Game 7 is going to always be on their court.

I'm a pretty big Padres fan. Watch at least 100 or so games every year. And right now the brooms are out at Dodger.

Yep you got it wrong, all HCA means all you have to do is win at home and you win the series. So if they get the split they have HCA before a game is played in LA.

BTW - You set me up there pretty good on my Dodgers, nice! I walked right into it...LOL

I'm pretty sure you can download an avatar before post 50 but I don't think you can do things such as send PM's until you reach post 50

Hey guys: For those of you who want to change your avatar. Go to the top of the page after you log in and click on the black menu bar on the left under the white "User CP". You can than edit your profile and edit your picture (avatar). Save a picture from some source ( I picked one up from googling) and save it to your desktop. When you click on "edit profile picture" following the prompts and download the save pix from your desktop. You can also view and edit your profile there are well. Hit save and you should be good to go.

Hey Star: No offense taken from another thread. But I have to disagree with you that Steve Blake did not contribute anything of value or at least at a starter's level offensively last evening. This is his second game where he was the Laker's high scorer. Defensively you have a point with Blake and Duhon as Duhon did not play, and to some extent Blake but I'll take Blake's offense and Jodie Meeks' defense for now. Granted we could not stop backcourt penetration from easy lay-ups by Houston and many times the Lakers have depended on the other team's shooting eventually failing. So, we shall see if the Lakers backcourt can continue and provide offense and some defense. Who knows, they may even get better but we shall see.
