You hitting the rock again?
players change teams ALL the time.
Name me a time in the HISTORY of the NBA where another team hired 3 former coaches of a different team in a 10 year time span. Ill GUARANTEE that has never happened before in the history of the league.
Yes they didn't make the playoffs despite having LBJ.
Mike Brown
Byron Scott
and now Ty Lue
why do the Lakers like to hire the Cavaliers sloppy seconds?
whoever gets hired by the Cavs should just plan his next job being coach of the Lakers. LOL
I think he was decent. Nothing special. But fans are fans. as mentioned, if they don't like the coach he will get the blame for the loss and never any credit. Especially when you coach Lebron.Yep. For better or worse, the NBA is about the players, especially the stars. It's often more important that the coach be someone that the star players will listen to than whether or not he can actually coach.
Phil Jackson wasn't all that good at X's and O's. The offense he's famous for wasn't even his. But guys like MJ, Shaq and Kobe were willing to listen to him, so many consider him the greatest coach ever.
I didn't pay enough attention to Lue when he was in Cleveland to know if he can actually coach. But if Lebron will listen to him, then it's a good choice.
Cannot disagree with that at all. I think Lue's OK, but not because Phillip says so.Is that the same Phil Jackson who consulted with the Pistons to hire Mo Cheeks as coach, who didn't even make it a year? Or the Phil Jackson that was so brilliant getting the Knicks where they are? Yes, he was a great coach, but anything ringing of executive recommendations from Phil has ended up very poorly.
when did I blame Stevens? I only asked you why you are so sure he's a great coach. so far you haven't answered.Like you blame Stevens for the Celtics loss.

Isn't that true of almost any coach?when did I blame Stevens? I only asked you why you are so sure he's a great coach. so far you haven't answered.
If Cs lose it's probably more on the players than Stevens. But if they win he'll get the credit.
Yes, and that's the point.....when the Cavs lost Lue took the blame. when the Cs lose no one blames Stevens. Last year when Toronto lost Casey often got the blame. Now with an even better team very few are blaming Nurse when they lose. Lowry seems to be getting the brunt of the blame.Isn't that true of almost any coach?

Agree 100%....but he took a lot of heat last year and many a Raptor fan wanted him gone.If they had kept Casey.....the Raps would be better off in this series.
Kidd would be a decent hire.
