Just hearsay from someone in the New Orleans area, much like that caller. To be fair to Collins, the fact that he might've been the father of the child was reason enough to bring him in too. The guy could be a choir boy for all we know.

So a caller in Washington called a radio station and redskinfan is running with it? Got it. I will admit I haven't tried to find any domestic violence on Collins until now. Cant find one report via google of this being the case, and I'd think if there were the media would have been all over it the moment it was reported the police wanted to question the kid.

I agree. That's why I stated unconfirmed.

The caller claimed to be a friend of the deceased and was calling in from NO or Baton Rouge or something. I put no credence in stuff like that unless verified by a credible source.

Not pointing fingers at you. Just haven't of any issues with Collins other than the murder of his ex. FWIW they can still find evidence that ties him to the case and the whole story changes.

I can't imagine JJ didn't do his due diligence. I think the risk is well worth it for Yall.

And yes, a lot of skins fans wanted to sign him. As did most fans of other teams!

As it's turning out, there's no evidence, for the time being, directly inculpating as a primary offender in the double murder. But there's also nothing to exculpate him as a primary/secondary actor either. Until they catch the perps and get the whole story, the specter of Collins involvement in this crime will continue to lurk with him and the Cowboys. What's still a mystery to me is why Collins hasn't issued a press release declaring his innocence in any involvement with the murder.
