It sure does. My firm has a DC office and I don't mind going back to visit. I'd love to watch a game at Fed Ex, though some are cautioning me against that.

I been out of DC for 12 years, but I still manage most years to catch at least one game at home and 1-2 away games.

The yearly meeting with the Boys will likely happen in the next few weeks for us to decide which games we are going to get tickets for. Right now its looking like Atlanta, Carolina and maybe both Dallas games.

I've always wanted to go. Maybe I'll watch the Bucs game. They can't possibly lose that one, right? But I'm thinking of going to watch the Falcons game in ATL.

I wanted to go watch the Raiders game in Oakland, but thought better -- much better -- of it.
Almost went to the Niners/Skins game last year. Glad I didn't now :L

One of these years I'm going to join you at a Boys Game in Dallas! On my bucket list to see that stadium. Was actually thinking about going this next year, a GF just started a job based out of Dallas.

I'm looking to go to the ATL game because it's potentially winnable and early on in the season where we still might be relevant. If I go to one of the games later on in the schedule, I might be more interested in looking at McShay's Big Board than what's going on during this current season.

Why don't we have board members go to that one? Only downside is that it'll be in Week 13 and we might be well out of the race by then.

I get my tickets as early as possible. If we decide as a group that a game is not worth the expense of the travel, I flip them on stub hub. I have only had to eat like two sets. PLus for the home games, the family has a set of season tickets. So its not too bad since i have to pay my share for those no matter what.

It has to be right situation for sure. But a Boys game in Dallas would be the only one id bother to go out of my way to travel to.

Sounds like the perfect scenario for you. Sunny Florida and access to at least 2 games a year!

I went to watch the Redskins play the Cardinals last year. It was amusing to see a handful of Redskins name protestors outside of a local Redskins bar. What wasn't amusing was Cousins' fourth quarter meltdown.

Is a Dallas game anything like going to the House That Al Davis Built?
From what I've heard, it's a great time.

Dallas fans from Texas are almost always hospitable and knowledgeable from the ones I've met in person. Of course I'm only talking of my personal experiences. They are just as fanatic about their team as we are about ours. Of course there is smack talk but that is half the fun! I honestly think that manners is a part of Texas culture, more so than other areas of the country.

But Shark can better enlighten cuz he's been there.

Nothing like going to an Eagles game with a skins jersey on and none of the crazy things you here about at Raiders games.

The sweet spot comes in on those rare occasions where we play Tampa and Miami on the road, plus have another game like Tenn, Atlanta thrown in as well.

All I will say about going to Dallas games is, get your tickets early, lower bowl is better. Avoid the Nose bleeds because thats the section where if some one shouts out hey bubba, half the section will turn and look. And about 1/3 of those might be women. LOL

That's good to hear. I might consider a trip out there. I really did want to see that Raiders game (and woulda watched Amerson take it back for six), but I heard anyone not rabidly rooting for the Silver and Black would be considered persona non grata.

Forgot to mention the Jags in there. Hell if Washington and Jacksonville ever got a Monday night game, I could make it and still get to work in the morning. :)

The only good thing about having three teams in the state is every other year I get to go to a Skins game without having to take the next day off from work.

You're probably a main instigator of smack talk when in Dallas!

And of that third, would any deserve a continued look? :)

Remember I am there with me, an Army spec four, my 6'3" 240 son, and the slighlty smaller one who shares Dad's attitude... So we have fun. :D
