Cant blame that last one on Marty..there was like 8 guys in front of him. He made some great saves tonight and wasnt even close to the reason we lost. Honestly I really dont know how we lost this game. We outplayed em. Again. And its 0-2. Im just willing to accept the Kings as a team of destiny. But the series aint over yet. Not by a longshot. The Devs could go into LA and win 2 straight. Only bad thing is they have 2 potential home games left lol...but even still sign me up right now down 3-2 and going into Game 6.

Face it, its OVER no need to watch games 3 and 4 it wil be a coronation nothing more. This LA team cannot be beat by anybody, they're like the Cardinals last year they wont fucking lose. Start accepting the heartache now i have. This loss is making me contemplate giving up on sports altogether. The Devils are the last pro/college team of mine to win a championship and that was 9 years ago. First my Jayhawks get to the title game and crush me, now this I cant do it anymore you may not see me anymore here.

Marty is the only one who has been keeping us in games.Bottom line is no matter what mart is doing this team isnt going to win if they cant score.our top lines need to produce we need a shakeup hopefully its not too late.unfortunately i think the rags series burned us out

im sorry but that ot goal is on marty he saw it coming maybe he was screened before the realease but he saw where it was going.

this is a real shame too because we seriously can be up 2-0 on them. 3 lame goals by marty and look we are down 0-2. how many bad goals has quick given up? zero and they are up 2-0!

yes i know the offense isnt doing much all the more reason for marty not to let up soft fucking goals.

going into this we knew scoring goals was going to be an issue. quick is leading the playoffs in every single goalie stat. and i agree marty has kept us in games but he hasnt won any games because of the 2 soft goals he gives up in regulation. if marty doesnt give them up then HE WOULD STEAL US THE 2 WINS. get what im going with?


a game worth of nice saves doesnt make up for the soft goal you give up esp when you know scoring goals is going to be a problem. q

Our top lines have been awful kovalchuck has been a non factor.Marty has only given up 1 goal in regulation in both games.If you cant win a game when allowing 1 goal its not on the goalie

1. Kovy looks like his back/lower body is hurting again like it was against the Flyers until he got some rest. It was bound to catch up to him again.

2. Clarkson is banged up. I know a lot of guys are, but he is just not right when I watch him.

3. 4th line is the only one with serious energy and cohesion every time they step on the ice.

I would think about possibly sitting Clarkson or JJ for a game and getting Sykora back in there and see if it makes a difference getting good shots on net. I'd also get Larsson (and maybe Tallinder) in there for Harrold and/or Greene.

clarkson got banged up pretty good in the rags series.That series has taken a toll on a lot of our players.gotta stop hiding injuries and play the guys who can go

Hes not talking about the OT goal, he is talking about the first goal in each game... both were soft goals that he should of had.. and in this series you cant have that... Quick is winning this because he hasnt let that soft goal in.... we have and therefor are down 0-2. Marty makes those saves in game 1 and 2 its 2-0. Simple as that....

You know what the hardest thing about this series is... we looked bad the first game, yet we lost 2-1 in OT.... now we dominated the second game and we lost 2-1 in OT... so how do you correct that??? The kings seem to have that lucky horse shoe up there ass and what can you do about that?? There were about 7 deflections that just didnt seem to find there way to the net.... come on man... we cant catch a break... in game 1 we had like 4 different times we had a wide open net and missed.... tonight, Kovy hit the post with less than 20 seconds to go in the third... they have all the luck right now... what can you do.... The only thing I can hope for is we take it to them in game 3, build some momentum and see if we can come back in game 5 tied.... Hopefully this will go the distance.... so far, all I see is that we can beat this team, we just arent.

PS.... Scoreing on the PP would be huge against this team.... seeing how we have had at least 3 a game and we cant do shit with any of them.... with a series this close in scoreing, we have to find ways to win on the PP... hell, just some shots would be nice....

You hit it Vort, PP has to be the difference. I believe we are 0 for 6 so far against LA. They clearly can't score on the power play, so we need to get a leg up somewhere.

Another thing, it seems like everytime the Devils are on the PP, it looks as if the Kings are on the PP. This team has to correct this if they plan on extending this series.
