CLEARLY you think this closes the gap between the Cavs and Warriors...

i'll lay odds they STILL hand you your heads...

That I agree with.

Cavs are better. Not good enough to beat GS, but the Nets pick might just keep the band together if they can show a little improvement over last year. Add Bagley or Porter to that mix and LeBron almost has to stay regardless of where things stand with Gilbert.

It makes them about the same for 2017-2018. The Brooklyn pick is pretty huge though as that is almost certainly a lottery pick.

Will be a lottery pick. Just a question if it will be top 5 or just outside the top 5

Great Trade for Cleveland (especially if they snatch Wade or Melo or both). Warriors got NO CHANCE if that happens nor does any other team. Thats a crazy stacked ass team

Kyrie- you were just traded for a pretty beloved guy in Boston--- they gave up a shit load to get you

you got your team--- and you have a SHIT LOAD of pressure on your back. Those Boston fans are gonna expect a LOT--- are you and Hayward and Horford enough? Are Brown and Tatum ready?

should be fascinating to see.

Isiah Thomas- he doesnt even need to be what he was with the Celtics- he doesnt need to be going crazy all the time....him and Rose just have to keep it together during the regular season.

you are playing with LeBron. Watch how easy the game gets Isiah

watch how easy the game gets when you have LeBron on the court, Kyle Korver in one corner and Kevin Love in the other corner.

Jae Crowder is a huge get because now you can send him at the other teams best wing. I know NO ONE is covering Durant--- but Jae Crowder is a LOT BETTER than anyone the Cavs had last year not named LeBron---- and now you can h ave LeBron play off him, conserve his energy and play passing lanes--- what he does best.

Celtics played over their heads last season.. They aren't shit. Should have been a first round exit if not for Rondo's injury, Irving isn't leading that team anywheres

And WTF is Irving thinking? Celtics aren't going anywheres as constructed. Does he want to play Westbrook? Stuck doing everything himself with crazy stats and going nowhere?
.....um....define going anywhere?

Cavs are still tops out East.

Wiz kids, Raptors, Celtics, Deer all in the next tier.

The thing that makes this a bad trade is the Brooklyn pick.

Had it been Crowder and Thomas alone it would have been a wash...imo...

Boston was never going to max that midget.

LOL.

Here we go again.

You said this last year. Warriors would be the favorites if Cleveland added both Wade and Melo on buyouts. Cleveland is better than they were, but don't get carried away. The Warriors are almost unbeatable with KD unless guys get hurt.

This is a great trade for Cleveland, but let's get real. I don't think this makes Cleveland better in the 2017-2018 season.
I definitely dont think it helps Cleveland long term becuase kyrie is just 25--- but it has to help them short term.

Jae Crowder is the best wing defender besides LeBron they have had. Thats a huge get right there.

Isiah is not Kyrie- hes just not--- but he can give you 80% of that scoring- and Isiah is going to play iwth LeBron- while Kyrie is LEAVING LeBron--- the game will be easier for one guy this year and harder for the other- and we know which is which.

Kyrie could continue to age and develop and be the next Curry or RW less the D.....Curry and RW didnt take the leap until after the age of 25. Kyrie is/was prob better then both at his age. But hes gonna have to learn to play some D at some point, hes gonna have to stay healthy- and those Boston fans are gonna expect a shit load out of him after this deal and what they gave up.

Lakers fans should be big Brooklyn fans this year

yup.

I mean--- the draft happens well before free agency...imagine if those ping pong balls fall the right way and you can add a big time freaking prospect to a team of Love, Isiah and LeBron......or what kind of trade piece that becomes for the next disgruntled star.

If the Cavs wanted to they could probably easily wait till the deadline and if the Pelicans are out of it swap that pick and Thompson for Cousins.

would:

PG- Isiah
SG- Korver
SF- LeBron
PF- Love
C- Cousins

be something to worry the Warriors? besides the fact that the games would be in the 150s? lol

I'm laughing my ass off @ Hayward.

This is not the Team they sold him on.

Honestly, I think Tatum and Brown are gonna be savages.

Give them sometime.

My issue is the PF position.

Are they playing Morris there fulltime?

Are they starting the Dancing Bear?

* Yabusale*

They are going to be small.

what i dont get is- what has changed iwth lebron and gilbert?

i mean they have hated eachother for a while--- what do they just hate eachother even more now? lol....it doesnt make sense

they made a deal- Dan goes bonkers with the payroll- LeBron comes back home and plays the hero.

I dont see how that has changed.

I was thinking with Boston- they have yabusale and zizic both overseas that want to come over---- brown and tatum---- tons of guys-- they have to make a deal

Cavs were beneficiaries of that. Zizic just isnt some asshole throw in. He could be a legit 7 foot rotation piece. ID rather have had yabusale--- but im sure thats what the celtics were thinking too.
