This is a great trade for Cleveland, but let's get real. I don't think this makes Cleveland better in the 2017-2018 season.
Depends

CLEARLY you think this closes the gap between the Cavs and Warriors...
i'll lay odds they STILL hand you your heads...
It makes them about the same for 2017-2018. The Brooklyn pick is pretty huge though as that is almost certainly a lottery pick.
.....um....define going anywhere? And WTF is Irving thinking? Celtics aren't going anywheres as constructed. Does he want to play Westbrook? Stuck doing everything himself with crazy stats and going nowhere?
Great Trade for Cleveland (especially if they snatch Wade or Melo or both). Warriors got NO CHANCE if that happens nor does any other team. Thats a crazy stacked ass team
I definitely dont think it helps Cleveland long term becuase kyrie is just 25--- but it has to help them short term. This is a great trade for Cleveland, but let's get real. I don't think this makes Cleveland better in the 2017-2018 season.
This is what LeBron does best....Kyrie- you were just traded for a pretty beloved guy in Boston--- they gave up a shit load to get you
you got your team--- and you have a SHIT LOAD of pressure on your back. Those Boston fans are gonna expect a LOT--- are you and Hayward and Horford enough? Are Brown and Tatum ready?
should be fascinating to see.
Isiah Thomas- he doesnt even need to be what he was with the Celtics- he doesnt need to be going crazy all the time....him and Rose just have to keep it together during the regular season.
you are playing with LeBron. Watch how easy the game gets Isiah
watch how easy the game gets when you have LeBron on the court, Kyle Korver in one corner and Kevin Love in the other corner.
Jae Crowder is a huge get because now you can send him at the other teams best wing. I know NO ONE is covering Durant--- but Jae Crowder is a LOT BETTER than anyone the Cavs had last year not named LeBron---- and now you can h ave LeBron play off him, conserve his energy and play passing lanes--- what he does best.
That I agree with.
Cavs are better. Not good enough to beat GS, but the Nets pick might just keep the band together if they can show a little improvement over last year. Add Bagley or Porter to that mix and LeBron almost has to stay regardless of where things stand with Gilbert.
Mick
.....um....define going anywhere?
Cavs are still tops out East.
Wiz kids, Raptors, Celtics, Deer all in the next tier.
The thing that makes this a bad trade is the Brooklyn pick.
Had it been Crowder and Thomas alone it would have been a wash...imo...
Boston was never going to max that midget.
yup.Lakers fans should be big Brooklyn fans this year
How do I feel ???Mick
this just became a flat out rivalry....Boston and LeBron have always had a past. Its just gonna get ramped up more than ever know....just wow.
how do you feel about it as a Celtics fan?
I'm laughing my ass off @ Hayward.Kyrie- you were just traded for a pretty beloved guy in Boston--- they gave up a shit load to get you

what i dont get is- what has changed iwth lebron and gilbert? That I agree with.

I was thinking with Boston- they have yabusale and zizic both overseas that want to come over---- brown and tatum---- tons of guys-- they have to make a dealI'm laughing my ass off @ Hayward.
This is not the Team they sold him on.
Honestly, I think Tatum and Brown are gonna be savages.
Give them sometime.
My issue is the PF position.
Are they playing Morris there fulltime?
Are they starting the Dancing Bear?
* Yabusale*
They are going to be small.
