smart move by Kyrie to make his intentions clear

Danny now knows his roster for next few years. This has me wondering if Danny now considers a big deal for Anthony Davis. Certainly scary terry is available as well as some first rounders.

Hmmm

No he said he’ll stay in Boston if the fans will have him. Sounded like damage control for earlier comments.

Stephen Jackson said the same thing with the Warriors. About a month after he signed his extension he demanded a trade.

Good for Kyrie. I was seriously starting to wonder about him.

All that said, his unwillingness to sign an extension last summer really didn't mean anything. Just as his public comments don't mean a lot now. It is certainly a good sign for the Celtics, but nothing is sure. Including the possibility that Ainge trades Kyrie if the right opportunity presents itself. It wouldn't be the first time.

I wonder what off the wall stuff Kyrie will say next, maybe that the Moon is made of cheese?

He’s not worth the 190m max.

Too much injruy risk.

These comments are just as meaningless as his comments about not signing an extension over the summer.

He'll stay if they give him the best offer. Which I suspect they won't.

That's nice to hear.

We'll see what comes... but I see no problem with Kryie being happy in Boston and Boston being happy with Kyrie and both parties looking forward to a great year.

No need to overthink the future.

So you think they won't even offer the non-bird max?

Wyck Danny and Kyrie have already had the talks. Unless he sucks royal he will get a great deal and be trying to put his number in the most coveted rafters in the sport

Stupid Kyrie. He clearly doesn't understand how NBA Twitter/Reddit/Fandom works. He's not suppose to say anything so we can speculate for months about potential landing spots based on tweets from some random guy that knows his cousin's barber.

I don't think so. They have too other players they are going to want to retain.

Maybe if he stays completely healthy this year. But would lean towards no.

I defintely think the Celtics will offer it barring another serious injury.

I am not 100% sold that it is the best thing for the team long term, but they will offer.
