It appears that Brian Schotty is the front runner for the head coaching position at Vanderbilt.

Kyle Shanahan is now appeared to be the front runner for the Rams OC job if BS is hired at Vandy. I didn't realize that Jeff Fisher and Kyle were such good friends. Now it makes sense to me.

Interesting?

Vandy is hiring Derek Mason (Stanford's DC) to be their new head coach. Schotty isn't going anywhere.

Good I hope Schotty stays we need CONTINUITY !!! I think its hard for people to understand sometimes that we need a staff that stays intact for more than a year or two.

I agree with continuity 100%..it seems that for the most part Shotty figured it out that we need to be a running team FIRST to even think of opening up the passing game. Bradford is at his best in play action, and a healthy running game will only make him more confident.

KSUDodgers. If Shittenheimer has recognized that Sammy is better in the play action, why then doesn't he run more of it? Seems to me he runs that dink and dunk shit more often than not when Sammy is there and less play action.

This is what pisses me off about Shittenheimer. He goes against basic offensive game strategy logic. If we need 12-15 yards, he goes short, 2-5 yards. If we need 2-5 yards he goes 15-20 yards deep. The worst was the Seattle game where we had just two yards to a game-winning score, we ran the ball primarily to get there, and he passes on 4th and goal. Made no sense.
