Could be Money could be whether he starts we dont know.....There are guys good enough to be on rosters and start sitting at home....We are close to the season...Maybe Faine didnt want to do Training camp....who knows... Him sitting at home at this point should not be an indication that he is washed up....

This is true, it happens. But this is more often the case for skill positions. I can't remember the last time I've seen a starting caliber lineman on either side of the ball sitting at home waiting for a call. It just doesn't happen, especially not on offense where you don't sub players in and out like you do at other positions, even on the defensive line. It is such a refined position and the most important position group where all 5 guys absolutely have to be on the same page.

Agreed. You do typically see this with guys who are at premium ($) positions. Though, nothing to say that other positions don't do the same thing. Probably because the $$$$ guys sitting out get more attention than some guy who plays center. No one cares about them, despite the need for a solid C on the line.

I'm really confused by the Kyle Cook situation. The guys gets hurt, doesn't even come out of the game, then we find out on Tuesday (the game was last Thursday) that he may not play again this year. What gives? In regards to Cook as a player, he's a middle of the road center, but nowhere near as shitty as Gut Check. I don't see a major upgrade signing Jeff Faine. Either way the interior line is quickly becoming worse than last year. Andy better be ready to run. Maybe we can ask teams to count 5 Mississippi before abliterating our QB

HAHAHA! Repped.....

Marvin called Rex and asked him not to run the wildcat..... Maybe he can call Harbaugh and ask him not to start his first team D?
