Doesn't Nascar have to grant an exception for a driver to make the chase if they miss races? I think they would eliminate anyone skipping races for the hell of it.

Nascar has the right to pretty much do anything they want and have on many occasion.

Without a doubt. But Busch is having to compete against a dozen other drivers who are hell on wheels. I know a lot of people hate Kyle Busch for their own reasons but you have to admit that winning even one race in NASCAR is hard. Very hard. And if you take away a fair percentage of the races because a guy is severely injured it is even more difficult to get a victory so you can make the Chase because your number of opportunities has been reduced. And he didn't win just 1 race. He won 4. He's more than proved he's "Chase Worthy".

Those four wins were all won under a package similar to the Xfinity and he quit winning once they changed the package back. The likely changed it back because of fan backlash of a driver that was not supposed to win this year or be in contention.

I would be so sick if Harvick didn't win it the year prior. Harvick was also robbed of long green flag runs because he could have caught him if he had chances to adjust the car more.
