Nah, he's 21, only played 29 games combined between the AHL and ECHL. I think Lindy will be here for a another year at least. I think Lindy is talented but he's a little raw still with is his fundamentals with leads to his inconsisties. I think Lindy will be here for a couple more years, the likes of Vasilevski, Wilcox and Gudlevskis aren't going to be rushed for 2 reasons in my opinion. 1. for their personal development but 2. because of Lindy's potential. I really do think Lindy will be a starting goalie in this league, he needs games. Bish played hundreds upon hundreds of AHL games, Lindy has played a handful. Games = experience and experience = benefits. Lindback's long term future isn't with the Lightning but with his potential I think Yzerman will try and maximize his value to the most it can be before moving him. I do think Lindy will get better but it's going to take games in order to do.

I really never see lindback being a number one nhl goalie ever I just don't see any improvment in him at all from last season! if anything he looks a little worse then last season. I think Gudlevskis leads the ahl in shutouts now I would give him a good look next training camp at the back up goalie for bishop. Vasilevski is going to be the starter in the ahl next year anyway. We need a good number 2 goalie to back ben bishop up.

Ok here goes, Lindback will not be resigned ! . He has been here for a year and a half and has not improved at all. Stevie Y will just have to eat his loss and move on. Vasilevski already has a ton of talent and I believe he'll be brought up to back up Bishop till he's ready at which time either he will be traded or Bishop will be traded.

Got to agree bolt I have seen no improvement from lindback. The guy gets beat short side all the time just bounces around in net a lot! Terrible handling the puck. They need to address the back up goalie spot for sure next season.

I agree with Lindy he hasn't improved but like anyone he needs games. In saying that is going to be hard to do with Bishop playing the way he is.

Right Danny, when you need wins to keep pace why sit Bishop and play Lindback ?
