OT, but my friend is having our 2nd annual lawn olympics this year and he's theming it by country. My friend and I have decided to represent the Soviet Union. And I'm pretty excited about saying things like this on the regular.

can i just say there's nothing more pathetic than the LeBron thing tomorrow. i'll probably check it out because i'm interested in sports in general...but i really am NOT a LeBron fan. MAYBE if he goes to the bulls (they're sort of my team? not a big NBA person, but mom's fam is from chicago), but i just can't take how much they're paid.

I heard that the money Lebron makes from this will be donated to a charity. However, ESpeon will be most likely put all their advertising dollars right into their back pocket..... I have tons of hate for that station.

i really dislike it as well...but i do watch SC a lot (i do watch other sports, and like to keep up with them). it's like a necessary evil in my daily routine. ya know, if they just gave hockey a shread of respect, i'd be a much happier person. in fact if they gave hockey 1/4th the air time they've given to ONE MAN in LeBron (or Tiger), i'd be happier.
