Are you fucking kidding me?

YOUR agent orchestrated the trade because you didn't want to play anywhere but LA.

Seriously, why is kobe trying to re-write his history? Is he that insecure with all his own accomplishments that he feels the need to make it seem like he was somehow dissed and ignored by charlotte?

You were traded because you demanded it Kobe, stop it already. You are too good to keep trying to play this story line up.

Also, Kevin Love is significantly better than Vlade Divac.

The hornets didn't have LeBron.

And Andrew Wiggins game/on court persona couldn't be MORE different than Kobe.

Kobe=Straight up gunner, uber aggressive.
Wiggins=Passive

From what we've seen so far at least

Kobe just talking out of his ass. He is worried now since he is older and his team will not go anywhere and Lebrons' legacy will now blossom. You had a great career Kobe, nothing needs to be said especially this bullshit.

He is comparing Divac to Love basically, really?

Hornets didn't even want Kobe, they already had guards.

Not a perfect comparison but he is right about how dumb it is to get rid of Wiggins

:lol: Yeah, agreed back then and still do. Kobe's right about the Cavs giving up Wiggins for Love. But, he should have just stopped there because he's the one that forced that trade.

Lmao...Kobe..Let go, let God.

You are no longer the show stopper.

When all the " Love is going to the Lakers " talk was going on, not a peep.

But, now that he's playing Buddy Ball with Lebron, he's Vlade?

LMFAO!

How did Kobe force a trade with a team that had already traded him ahead of time?

"The deal was actually done a day ahead of time, and it was Vlade for a player to be named," said Bill Branch, the Hornets' head scout at the time who still operates out of Charlotte as a scout for the Seattle-now-Oklahoma City Sonics. "If I remember right, they didn't even tell us who they wanted us to pick until about five minutes before the pick was made. So it was never a matter of us actually drafting Kobe."

Kobe, in an interview during the 2000 Finals when the Lakers beat Indiana for the NBA title, said emphatically that he would have gladly played in Charlotte. Sure, he wanted to play for the Lakers, but who wouldn't?

Hard to say that he's trying to rewrite history when he's been saying it all the way back to 2000.

there is also this quote from his agent:

Couldn’t Bryant be a Hornet? Could he grow to love Southern sweet tea?

“That is an impossibility,” Bryant’s agent, Arn Tellem, said at the time. “There are no ifs. It would not happen. He is going to be a Laker, and that’s the only team he’s playing for.”

I think Kobe is actually right this time:bullshit:. The comparison of Love to Divac makes perfect sense. Their #'s are almost the same...

Love: 19.2 ppg & 12.2 rebs / Divac: 11.8 ppg 8.2 rebs.:doh:

If memory serves, Kobe forced the trade by having his agent let other teams know that he wasn't going to sign with them. He had other options, such as playing in Europe (remember, he grew up in Italy).
