And that is precisely the problem.

You can’t get results immediately in the NBA.

It isn’t possible.

And every time he goes for the quick fix move he makes it less likely his team will ever gets to where it needs to be to actually contend.

The Knicks and Wizards are basically the same. They build to be competitive enough to be near the playoffs, but not to do well once they actually get there.

And when you fail to have a competent long term build plan in the NBA, you will not ever build a contender.
