We all knew Hornacek and Fizzdale were getting fired.

Coaches don’t tend to keep their jobs long when the team wins less than 30 games every season.

The difference is you were blaming the coaches for the win total. All we said was the loss totals weren’t on the coach as much as management. Then you took a victory lap when they actually got fired like it proved you right.

Go find a quote where any of us said those coaches wouldn’t get fired.

What we said was that you can’t fairly evaluate a coach’s performance based on wins and losses when they are working with a crappy roster.

And you constantly have blamed coaching for Knicks poor performance instead of looking where the real blame lies. At the top.

A poster recently posted that you know your shit, what he should have posted is that you really know how to BULL shit.

not only was it posted that he wouldn’t be fired, it was posted several times that no coach could win with a challenged roster.

well, today, basically the same roster, even less talent, is winning games!!!

Why?

because they have a coach who with a challenged roster, demands the basics, which is all I ever asked for with a challenged roster. But, y’all spun it, what y’all do so well on here, as if I expected a ring !

thibs, demands the basics , good d, boxing out, improved foul shooting .... all the fundamentals that Fizzdale did not put an emphasis on. If you recall , that knucklehead tried going through Robinson on the offense. Lol

y’all even posted that fizzdale was a good coach and will get a job right away and succeed. Lol. Remember that Gem? Where is he today?

your turn, spin away , and, all jump on Swamis nuts and hug away

Talk about spinning.

11-13 still isn't winning.

Everyone said Thibs was a good hire, and no one said Fiz wasn't going to be fired. I believe everyone agrees that Thibs is better than Fiz, so he is winning more games, sure. But you still can't truly evaluate a coach with such a challenged roster, and the main fault still sits with who assembled the roster, not the coach.

Try to remember this post next time the Knicks are playing and you feel compelled to post how Thibs is doing it wrong.

holy macrel, ya can’t be this stubborn, dense, mental block. Take your pick, ain’t none of them a compliment.

I never expected what you , good lordddddd, spun out of control, the Knicks now, and in recent past , to go anywhere. I did say, that with good coaching, which you did post we all agree , thibs, will win more than ,t lance has posted, a handful of games, if, the basics were executed. Which they are, and I would consider, 11 wins out of 24, more that a handful!

imho, the Knicks will not make the PS this year for the simple reason . Teams right now have not bared down to play their game. Where the Knicks , as you know thibs track record is to play every game as a PS game, will burn out.

I never said he was doing anything wrong!

I said now that you have accomplished the basics. Implement a little offensive strategy other than motion offense . Pick and roll off screen with the right player. Penetrate the zone with stop and pops. This would open up the d played against Knicks, allow more involvement, and give Randle a break he desperately needs.

I went back to the first page and looked at a @tlance post where he said the roster as assembled is good for 30-35 games at most If you extrapolate out their 11 wins to an 82 game season it comes out to 37.5, pretty damn close for @tlance.

Yep. 30 -35 wins over 82. I stand by that. That isn’t winning.

They are currently on pace for 37.5 wins in a full slate although they aren’t playing a full slate this year.

Knicks schedule will get tougher over the second half.

pull the post where I said with that assembled roster, that they would be a contender, or a shoe in for PS. Or, did I just expect them to compete , Win or lose?

look, you guys are just trying to invalidate my views, that did come to fruition, and because I tried to help you, like Deniro said in Copland,

YOU BLEWWWWWW IT!

You know what they say...

when you resort to slander , you have lost the battle.

moving on...
Also, when you are Pastafazul you have lost the battle. Pretending you don't say what you do say isn't gonna work here.

Calling you a dumbass isn't slander. Odd you'd need a reminder of this. I'm calling you a dumbass because last season you said the only issues with the Brickabockers was Fizdale. You try to pass the blame onto coaches while ignoring the bad roster your team has right now.

You continue to go out of your way to try to make it look like I was wrong. I wasn’t.

This is still a weak team. But Thibs has them competing a bit which should satisfy you.
