To be fair to Pasta (ewwww I feel dirty typing that), they aren't supposed to go from total garbage to contenders in one year. If Thibs gets them close to .500, yeah that's hurting their draft position but it's a necessary step.

There's no doubt the coaching change has been a good one

Agree. But he's claiming people said stuff that wasn't said.

Also, they could probably use one more season with a high draft pick.

So, far. It is very short term. Maybe Thibs has learned and he won't run his team into the ground and alienate all the players. Only time will tell, but it hasn't ended pretty before.
But they certainly do seem to be playing better for now.

Lol, this coach unlike the others holds his players accountable. You practice hard , you get minutes , is thibs philosophy. Its that simple. I, never expected past or present anything other than that for them to compete, win or lose, good roster bad roster! He’s not doing anything spectacular, he’s not masterful in game plan. Just work hard, and you got a shot! His message is getting through to his players.

There are no stars on this team and players know it. They look to Randle for leadership , and he gives it to them it quietly.

barring injury, and going forward I look for this team to be disrupters. They will make you earn your victory. They will get respect. And maybe have a real deal player join them just when Robinson barret and oppin truly flower...
