Totally not getting your point. Yes, stars get old and have to eventually retire. They get replaced by a new generation that usually builds upon what was done before. The game evolves and gets better.

Could be the result. Towns is an elite 3 point shooter for his size but I wonder if NY is in the same spot. Randle was a good player but he hustled. Bad shot selection at times which can be Towns’ issue. Helps he can make tough shots and much better outside shooter. Randle can bang in the post. It is without a doubt an upgrade.

DD was pretty damn good and a great defendeer. Clutch shotmaker. They are set on Bridges becoming that guy basically. Not sure he can be the same clutch shotmaker but we will see

Biggest question of all will he be able to handle the pressure of the media in NY?

He grew up not so far from it, New Jersey!

As a Knicks fan I should be so elated about this trade, the taste Donte left in all Knicks fans mouths , his loss, is going to be very difficult to accept.

Crazy thing is, we will be wanting from Towns what Donte gave us, not Randle or Robinson, who I understand will miss first 2 months of reg season, lol, what a surprise!
