In 2008 I took my son, who was only seven at the time, on a trip to Denver. We saw the Broncos beat the Saints the day after watching CSU beat Houston in Fort Collins. Klint Kubiak, who was a safety for the Rams, made a game clinching INT on a fade route in the end zone with only seconds left on the clock, preserving a CSU 28-25 win. Obviously has nothing to do with the Kub Kubes hire, but I think it's at least a decent story.
