For sure......everyone is screaming for Tee, myself included, but there are some major holes on this roster outside of WR2.
I steadfastly said wait on TEE and sign him as a Fa . No need to spend draft resources and then pay him as well . Now we just have to pay him . Lattimore trade is better as we have him 2 more yrs , and he is better then the 3rd rounder we gave up for him provided he isn’t a health catastrophe

The rub with that is if Tee doesn't sign with us. That said, i never believed the Bengals would trade him. They were all in on this year.

Trading for Tee was something I never got wrapped up in. I'm just glad to see that you have moved off your stance of don't make a trade unless it makes you a Superbowl contender. Sometimes it's the move before the move that sets you up. (Lattimore)

We do need another WR threat. But more pressing, we need a defense that can stop someone. We can’t survive on the expectations that we (Jayden) will win a shootout in the last seconds.

I can’t disagree more. The most pressing thing we need is the ability to have Jayden healthy for the next ten years. If we ask him to put on a Superman cape every game and carry the team while being under constant assault, he will get injured. We have a good center, guard, and tackle. We have an Okish guard on the other side and a poor tackle on the right. We also have zero depth. From there, we have a singular good WR, an OK RB, and an aging TE that has been revived from life support.

Sure, we need to stop the run and I can’t for the life of me figure out why we can’t with our personnel. Statistically, we stop the pass well and pressure the QB decently. I would say we need one big angry defensive body in the middle, could use upgrades on the ends (or maybe more discipline), and depth in the secondary.

I would say we have far more talent on the defensive side of the ball than we do on the offensive.

I can't argue on the point of keeping JD healthy. That's a given. But I will still maintain that we will not become a regular contender with the defense that we trot out there every week. Doesn't mean we dont also spend resources on the offense. We must.
