Klays performance probably can't be overstated. That team has two superstars. Mark Jackson is looking pretty smart with that "best shooting backcourt ever" thing.

Klay has really come along with his offensive game. The first couple of years in the league he would just park himself behind the three point line and would become the invisible man if his shot wasn't falling. The past couple of offseasons he worked on driving and finishing to the rim and he finds ways to score now other than 3 point shots.

Anyone also notice klay is slightly better than the peak of Paul George last season? Klay putting up the same numbers except less boards. Same type of defense as George and more efficient shooting the ball.

Exactly. He has all star talent but I never bought into the superstar/MVP hype he was getting a while ago.

Kobe is shooting 37% tonight, so it might be better to table a discussion for a night when he is doing better. That being said he has averaged between 42% to 46% in field goal with his percentage usually being around 42% more of the time. Thompson so far has a nice stroke and slightly more efficient and consistent while averaging between 44% and 46%. Thompson's other stats in rebounds and assists are slightly lower, but his time has come and went. It's time to table the discussion about him and talk about the newer players who are relevent
