Yeah, but there's a difference using motivation at the start of the finals and mid-series. That's where the discussion about this is. Everything about Jordan said he was ready minute 1.

Lets put it this way, if during game 4 of a series, Russell talked smack to Jordan, do you think Jordan could have played better than he was already playing? Meaning that he truly wasn't giving it 100% from the start?
REALLY?!!! REALLY?!!! LOL

it depends on the exact point its said?!!! dude...you are grasping at some pretty thin straws.....first it was playoffs vs. regular season....now timing...cmon man...give it up.

No you're the one's who's unrealistic here. There is no way for a player to play 110%. That figure does not exist. 100 is full potential.

So if you're content to say Lebron was playing at 95%, to start the series, then got that extra 5% boost from Klay's comments then that's all you. Not going to argue with you. But you simply don't get you basically said your star player wasn't trying his hardest from the start. How do you not get that?

Kerr took him out so he wouldn't embarrass himself by trying to beat Kobe's 81.

I hope GS "fans" realize how much they are being spoiled right now. I'm not talking about anyone on here, just in general. Bunch of unaware bandwagon idiots out there.

Agree 100%, when a team gets this hot, you pick up randoms. Believe me anyone a fan longer than 5 years appreciates these days. If you are also a SF Giants fan you know it was the same 2010-2014

Irving and Love not playing is what led to LeBron's- while ridiculous numbers, reduced efficiency.
Agreed(to an extent), but even looking back at it last year, Lebron was better, but not necessarily efficient for the entirety of the series

But back to the Warriors, what they are doing on offense this year is plain unfair

I read that in his 60 point game Klay only had the ball in his hands for a total of 80 seconds and only took 11 dribbles on his 21 shots.

Yep. That was a unique performance.

If you like the game of basketball how can you not be fascinated by what the Warriors are doing? People remember the Showtime Lakers, well enjoy Showtime 2.0 or 4.0 or whatever (D'Antoni's Suns? 1996 Bulls?). It's fun plain and simple.

That is precisely why it was foolish for anyone to question the Warriors' offensive efficiency after they landed Durant. They have multiple guys capable of posting big numbers without needing the ball in Their hands.

He was on pace for 100 Points per 48 minutes. He's easily the streakiest player in NBA history. One game he can be the best player of all time and then the next game he looks like a bench player at best. Dude just needs to develop high level consistency and he will be an MVP one day if not he will be a really great SG that has mind blowing great games and terrible games.

Agree. In adding KD, they just added another unselfish star. From what we've seen do far, when one guys gets really hot, the others seem to enjoy feeding him the ball and watching the show.

I think most of us thought they'd get it figured out. Not sure anyone thought they'd get figured out as fast as it appears they have.
