Is that his record or the teams ?

From context, I thinks it’s his record. His teams’ record is 7-1. (Just making a joke, hadn’t followed the argument before.)

how long and how many qbs did it take to replace KC ? 19 qbs ? 6 yrs people for a guy you guys were adamant could be replaced instantly

he is ranked 21 all time in yds , 11th passer rating , , 18 in passing tds, 6th all time is completion percentage , 19th all time in 4th quarter wins , you know being able to play in the clutch , 19th out of all the qbs who have played this game for over 100 yrs

your narratives are often false when put to DATA

now to make this about JD5 is ridiculous because no one , and i mean no one knew who JD5 was when this debate started in 2015 or a decade ago
It took exactly one season and one QB to replace him. Just because the production wasn't the same doesn't mean he wasn't replaced.

how about you once , just once actually put up real data ? not one of those teams he played on was superbowl contenders , not one

Sure thing, pal.

The 2022 Vikes went 13-4 and lost in the first round to the Giants.

It took literally 30 seconds of google searching, copying, and pasting here.

You’re welcome.

And exactly what are you “ proving “ ? That he carried a mediocre team to the playoffs with multiple come from behind wins , that got exposed in round 1 ?

You asked me to provide evidence that “not one” of the teams he was on was a super bowl contender.

Within 30 seconds, I did.

So, you’re wrong about that assertion.

Start by admitting that you are wrong before I dismantle your previous assertion.

We don't have people starting threads about RGIII years after he had left. Why don't we every discuss the 3 first round picks he cost us and how he gave us nothing after his first season and acted like a total punk? Why don't we discuss how a 1 win Cleveland team told RGIII to get lost? Why didn't we see those threads?

No you only want to talk about the contracts Kirk signed, these are contracts the teams presented to him and he simply took the deals as anyone would have.

Wait a minute, Robert held the Redskins at gun point and demanded a kings ransom to be drafted #2?
He cost us 3 picks? You're blaming Robert instead of Snyder. Mike was smart enough to draft Cousins, solid move.
Robert had a good season but ultimately was not a good qb, and a immature student of the game.
Kirk Cousins is a good qb but thats all he is, and all he's ever been...he becomes a bad qb when the game is on the line.
he's still playing so of course, people will still talk about him. but i dunno anybody that hates him with the same passion as RG3.
Players, ex-players, fans.....you name it, they either love or hate him.

Cousins although a massive choker, is respected

Well they weren’t, no one had that Vikings team as a contender before that season

That season was very flukey. All 4 of their losses were beatdowns. The Vikings won a lot of very close games that in previous years, they would lose. Kirk checking down at the end of that playoff game, rather than cutting it loose, is a manifestation of his entire time here.

Jesus, you like to move the goalposts when it suits your narrative.

They went 13-4, so they were title contenders.

Simple as that.

Doesnt matter if they were preseason favorites or not.

You know this to be true too, skinsdad, you’re just not mature enough to admit that you were wrong.

Yup. He inherited the moniker of Captain Checkdown from former Redskin qb Jason Campbell during Cousins’ time here.

Even the Vikings fans know of his garbage play in crunch time.

We dealt with it for 6 years. When we first signed him, I was good with it. A 3 year experiment. But we kept extending him and never drafted a legitimate guy to challenge him. He got us one playoff win in 6 years. Case Keenum got us further in his one season here.

Kirk is a total phoney, sure he wants to win, but he absolutely wants the money more. There has been no player in the history of the NFL that has played the free agency game better. Good for him, he can build a mansion out of stacks of hundred dollar bills. Just don't put a trophy case in there.

As I remember it Minnesota has never won a championship no matter who the QB was.

Fair enough. But he was supposed to be the missing piece and he wasn't. In 2018 we had the number one defense and finished 8-8. As his salary got more and more inflated, we had to continue to dismantle the team to accommodate that. Outside of one season, he's a .500 QB across his career.

If Kirk was superman the playoffs are a pure uncut chunk of kryptonite, force fed to him by Lex.
My main man skinsdad is reduced to bragging about Kirks numbers and comeback wins, because those things are more important than conference and superbowl titles

Getting paid to be unproductive is the most kirk cousins thing in the history of Kirk Cousin’s Kirk Cousinness.

$10 million bonus due this Saturday to be a backup, $27 million more for the season.

That dude lives a charmed, charmed life.
And has the best agent in the history of agents.

If you get paid what he got paid, you are paid to make them contenders. Full stop.

In 2018 Cousins completed 70% of his passes for 4,096 yards, 30 TDs and 10 Ints. Sure doesn't sound like he was the big problem.

This is a pretty good call, only reason I can see for them to do this. Now I have my doubts about Pennix after liking him on draft day but they are surely moving on from Cousins.
Enter Joe Flacco who is suddenly in play. The plot thickens.
