Getting paid to be unproductive is the most kirk cousins thing in the history of Kirk Cousin’s Kirk Cousinness.

$10 million bonus due this Saturday to be a backup, $27 million more for the season.

That dude lives a charmed, charmed life.

I dont hate the man, I’m proud of him.

The dude bet on himself and in the process fleeced three different framchises out of millions.

He’s the godfather of stat padding mediocrity.

I hope there is a case study in a future college class on building personal wealth entitled “the quandry of Kirk: Why YOU LIKE THAT!”

God bless KCizzle.

Stat padding or never giving up ? He has the nfl record for largest comeback win and our team record . So if he falls short at leading a comeback he is stat padding ?

That and his 1-4 playoff record gets him $37million.

He’ll play 6 plus games this next season. The starter will get hurt and he’ll produce a wildcard for them or something and then get signed elsewhere for $36 million for three years. Not record breaking but something.

Right now, if the Steelers are smart, they will look towards possibly trading for KC, rather than signing that goofy Aaron Rogers. I don't care if AR is a free agent a gimpy, costly, identically ineffective Cousins is far better than the cancerous, get everybody fired AR.

Lets clear one thing up, people either love RG3 or they absolutely hate him.

On the other hand, people love Kirk until he chokes in epic fashion, and then respect what he and his agent have accomplished. Kirk Cousins is 2x the criminal John Gotti was. He's epic. Some of this is in gest, before the die hards overreact

Is that his record or the teams ?

Siiiiggghhhhhh.

We cant have nice things I guess.

Ok skinsdad, you are absolutely correct: it’s his team’s record - not his.

We don't have people starting threads about RGIII years after he had left. Why don't we every discuss the 3 first round picks he cost us and how he gave us nothing after his first season and acted like a total punk? Why don't we discuss how a 1 win Cleveland team told RGIII to get lost? Why didn't we see those threads?

No you only want to talk about the contracts Kirk signed, these are contracts the teams presented to him and he simply took the deals as anyone would have.

If you put any stock in NFLTR speculation, Cousins remaining with the team for the roster bonu\s was a strategic move by the Falcons because the team knew ultimately that at some point after the QB musical chairs was over, one of either Pittsburgh, NYG, Minnesota, or Cleveland would be desperate for a QB and would have to overpay to acquire Cousins.

This is a pretty good call, only reason I can see for them to do this. Now I have my doubts about Pennix after liking him on draft day but they are surely moving on from Cousins.

Well, I posted this thread because I think it’s hilarious how much love Cousins still gets from some people on here, especially considering:

a) how little clutch he actually is compared to how much money he’s made and continues to make and
b) how much more clutch Daniels is -100% more playoff wins being one reason - in his first year than Cousins has been in his 10+ year of fleecing franchises.

I agree with you though DGF: people DGF@RG3.

how long and how many qbs did it take to replace KC ? 19 qbs ? 6 yrs people for a guy you guys were adamant could be replaced instantly

he is ranked 21 all time in yds , 11th passer rating , , 18 in passing tds, 6th all time is completion percentage , 19th all time in 4th quarter wins , you know being able to play in the clutch , 19th out of all the qbs who have played this game for over 100 yrs

your narratives are often false when put to DATA

now to make this about JD5 is ridiculous because no one , and i mean no one knew who JD5 was when this debate started in 2015 or a decade ago

My narratives are often false when put to your cherry picked data.

True.

When you paint an incomplete picture using data that you cherry pick, you paint rosey pictures for yourself.

Would you rather have Daniels now or Cousins?

Would you rather have Daniels now or Cousins in his prime?

Did Cousins’ team help with the fourth quarter comebacks or is that Cousins’ stat alone?

What were his offensive line rankings while accumulating all those stats?

What about his wr and skill position player rankings?

If you are going to imply that Cousin’s 1-4 playoff record is a team based ranking, then you better be willing to imply that his other offensive rankings are also team based too.

Irrelevant explanation from skinsdad incoming in 3……2…..1……..
