Don't think it would be an issue, no more than asking Desmond to be the everyday CF was. Granted you don't want to move Juri there on a permanent basis, I believe he still has too much value at another position. That and guys like Fielder and Napoli can play 1B, so it wouldn't be difficult for Profar to slide in there

What happens to Gallo?

To me I do not want back out in the lineup for any player we have right now other than Moreland. And if an injury comes I still am not sure what you do with him. He would still DH unless you are talking about an injury to Moreland.

Moreland will not play a full season without a DL stint and someone else unfortunately probably will have to miss some time at some point. Don't want to call another young guy up to cause more bench time for the rest. Let Prince sit there until his depth is needed, but I feel it will be at some point

So the idea is to have Profar play 1B the rest of this year, and then back to middle infielder next year? Because I thought Gallo was being worked out at 1B to play there next year.

We can bite the bullet for 2 games if we sit Mitch. Long term have to bring up Gallo. His defense helped Elvis out last night on balls airmailed. No one else gets those

I don't see him playing everyday going forward, but he will have to start hitting somewhat or the end is certainly gotta be near, right?

The thought is to get Profar at least 5-6 starts a week until 10 days is up and reassess then. Now he is Super UIF. They likely changes after Choo gets back

Choo coming back is going to complicate things for sure.

My gut feeling is that there's going to be a trade at mid-season that is going to clear some of the complications up.

That would be nice but not sure we can get any value for Prince Or Mitch. And I do not think we trade Profar. Moves on middle infield likely to happen in off season. Imthink we get relief pitching or maybe a #3 starter. Doubt A catcher

The answer to Prince will be a very tough decision in FO. What they do must be done for the good of the team. He can be traded along with prospects and eating some of the cost. No one wants him without compensation.
