Yes, we want to, but like Boston fans we resist remembering.....I was going to make a similar comment but I refrained as well

I had a lot of problems with him at the end of his career, but I try not to let that taint my overall feelings about him. I don't put him in a list of my top 5 Rangers or anything close really, but I do have respect for his career here. There is a significant sized faction of Rangers fans who overvalue him and I think sometimes some of the rest of us overreact to that. I think I have been guilty of that from time to time. I am happy for him to be inducted and I think he does deserve it.Never was a huge MY fan, myself.
He was the captain on very bad teams, so he gets that badge of honor. He at least got to see them get good even with his diminished role. His atrocious defense was perfectly juxtaposed by his ability to flick the ball to right field. He was so damn good at going the other way, and when the jet stream existed he would ride them right out...I imagine MY would have been worshipped if he were a Yankee and Jeter would have been thought of how MY is if they both swapped places. (I obviously don't really find Jeter all that special)I had a lot of problems with him at the end of his career, but I try not to let that taint my overall feelings about him. Remember when Evan grant use his MVP vote on young?![]()
Last October Evan tweeted asking if Elvis' terrible game that ended our season was destined to be Elvis' legacy. So I tweeted him and asked if his leaving Pedroia off of his MVP ballot a few years back was his legacy and if that defined his career. I reminded him that all of us have very bad days sometines.Remember when Evan grant use his MVP vote on young?![]()
Do you ever tire of being wrong? Asking for a friend.
How often does a major league team blow a 12-2 lead in the later innings? It happened..... I was shocked. Lots of those players on the Padres should be in the minors right now. I'm over it. Just didn't think the Padres could be that terrible. I wish we got to play them this year.
So what do we do if Profar is still batting .350 and Odor's suspension is up? I guess we stills end him down but the kid has looked good and presumably is only going to get better as he gets back into the swing of things.
Send him back to AAA to get more AB's. If Odor hits a significant slump, bingo Pro will be there and ready. Good shape to be IMO.So what do we do if Profar is still batting .350 and Odor's suspension is up? While all of that is true. It makes it no less funny.

My bet is they send him down to get AB's and make sure his shoulder is going to hold up. If there is another injury he will come back up, or be a late season call-up, when rosters expand. They probably decide what to do w him going forward in the offseason.
What's the love affair with you and the Mariners. Who cares what they do?Fuckin A
Yup, definitely a good spot to be in. I just wonder which one of them is going to have a better MLB career. Seems pretty likely we will be trading Profar at this point IMO. The depth this team has this season is unbelievable but it could probably be used more effectively.
